We had dinner here while in Mitchell. Our waitress, Lisa, was very kind and efficient. My husband had the 5 ounce steak, I had the chicken stir-fry, and our daughter had the fettucinni alfredo (which she said was "fabulous") We all liked the food and the French dressing on our salads was "Great". The place was clean and not very busy as we ate "Lupper" (the meal between lunch and supper!)
On our Best Friend Road Trip to Yellowstone and stayed in Mitchell for the night. I use Trip Advisor alot while traveling. That's how I found out about Hungry Dog. If you are in Mitchell you need to stop here. We had a footlong Wiz Dog!!! It was amazing!!!

Indoor/ outdoor seating. Conference rooms available. Catering available. We are a totally scratch kitchen with national and local live music continually. The Back 40, where food and music meet
Stopped here along our route to Chamberlain. On the outside it looks like an old shack. There's indoor seating but I recommend you sit outside and enjoy the ambience. Definitely a country western theme decorated place. The food is greasy and good! My husband ordered the Hoss Burger and enjoyed every bite. When we walked in the folks leaving recommended the deep fried asparagus. Got it and loved every bite! I ordered the kids the deep fried, rolled in Cap'n Crunch Chicken fingers! Wow! They didn't like them but my husband and I cleaned up every crumb. Stop here when you're driving through!

We enjoy stopping here. Great comfort food. I love the fried eggs & hashbrowns with toast. He prefers their pot roast. Flavor is good.

This place has a new name- Elixir Rotisserie. The coffee was excellent. We had breakfast and it was lovely. The hubby had a sourdough sandwich that disappeared instantly. I had the ½ order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were light and fluffy and the gravy was flavorful. A great breakfast treat.

If you are like me, you may have found Ruby Tuesday Salad Bars are not always equal. In our experience, the good salad bars are maintained all the time they are open. Fresh salad dressings, lettuce, pasta salads, etc. that are replaced or supplement with more. In addition, a good salad bar is always being cleaned...there are too many ways to make a mess. Well, the Salad Bar at this location is REALLY GOOD for all the above reasons and more! We had a great salad and terrific service. Thank you for serving up a GREAT salad bar...they are hard to find.Cheers!BlueWaterSailor

A small, family-owned group of restaurants, hand-crafting food since 1995. We feature wood-fire grilled steaks cooked over full=size logs of oak and ash, award-winning BBQ slow-smoked on premise, homemade desserts and much more.
The food at Whiskey Creek was good. Three of us had burgers--two of us the bison burgers--and one had bacon-wrapped shrimp. All of us were satisfied. Nothing was incredible, but nothing was bad, either. There were very people there when we were--probably around 2:30 on a Saturday. The server was friendly and did a fine job. We all had dessert, too--bread pudding, brownie with ice cream and fruit cobblers. The dessert portions are huge, so consider sharing if you don't have a lot of room left! Oddly, the server said they "got rid of the dessert menu," but she told us what was available.

Nothing says South Dakota like a good steak and no one does steak like the Cattleman's Club Steakhouse. We've been in business since 1986 using the same family recipes since opening day. All our steaks are hand cut, aged to our specifications and topped w
My wife chose Cattleman's for her birthday dinner on a Monday. There were a fair number of empty tables when we arrived, yet we stll had to wait to be seated. We both decided on prime rib. When our meals arrived the prime rib was cold, not even luke warm. We asked our server to have it warmed up. She seemed like this was a bother. When it came back the meat was no longer medium, but they only warmed it up to luke warm. What a disappointment! Living in Mitchell we've been there a few times. I've never been impressed. There are much better places for steak. Most restaurants treat you with a dessert for your birthday. Not this place.Hello,Let me start by saying we are known all over the country for our prime rib so I was shocked to see your review. Also I was not made aware of anyone's prime rib being cold and if it was I would have no problem fixing that. Secondly we do a free ice cream sundae so if the server told you otherwise I would like to know. If you could please contact me via email at [email protected] or call me at 6059902222 I would greatly appreciate it so that we can remedy the situation.

This restaurant and bar is located inside the original railroad depot building in Mitchell. The building was constructed in 1908 and repurposed into a bar in 1992. In observance of National Cheeseburger Day, I had one with fries. It was delicious. Service was good as well.

After reading reviews from TripAdvisor, we went here for our traveling companions Wedding Anniversary. It was not a disappointment! Our server was great and the food, delicious! They even gave them a nice slice of cheesecake to celebrate! The owner was super informative about the history of the restaurant. Very nice place to eat!
