Excellent food. Both my wife and I enjoyed the meal. Prices are moderate. Lots of beer on tap. Will stop again on our next trip.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Good selection of fresh seafood. Fish was prepared well. Prices were extremely high for the types and portions received. 2 of us with an appetizer, 2 drinks each, an entree and 18% tip paid over $175.00. I would have gone to Joe Meurs downtown Detroit if I knew this.

I participate in the annual Saline Fall Craft show and always make a stop at the Brecon Grille for dinner after packing up on Saturday night. Did the same this year...the place was busy as usual, but I found my favorite seat at one of the small tables across from the bar. From there you can catch one of the football games being played on one of the TVs over the bar. I had the fish (fresh wild caught Icelandic cod) and chips several years ago and keep coming back for them. I was given three large pieces of fish coated with a mild batter that is not greasy like some fish entrees at other restaurants. The fish are accompanied with great tasting crispy fries and a serving of house slaw that has a very pleasing taste. They call themselves an English style grille and pub...so if the fish isn't what you had in mind they do offer a selection of sandwiches, burgers and salads along with a number of other entrees. They have a nice selection of craft beers, most of them brewed in Michigan. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you are ever in the Ann Arbor area....make a side trip to Saline and stop here. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent tavern for travelers looking for an authentic - local Michigan tavern in Saline (15 minutes frm Ann Arbor) - nice selection of beers, many burger choices
servers were very nice and food came out quick. but.... the stuff from the fryer all came out a little luke warm in the middle, the portions were small, the food quality was low... drinks just had a couple ice cubes each and we had to ask a few times for refills even though not even half the tables were full... not terrible, but far from great as most of the reviews state... i would say less than coney island quality food....

Salt Springs Brewery is situated in an old church, complete with some beautiful stained glass windows. Because the day was nice, we sat outside where there are plenty of shady spots to enjoy a nice breeze. The beer list is not vast, but is broad enough to please your tastes. There is a limited wine list - enough to satisfy the wife. If you go on weekends, you can enjoy the buffet, or a limited menu before dinner. The location, setting, and drinks were just what we needed.

The word Grille was spelled wrong. I want to apply for our certificate but wanted to change that 1st. Thank you.
We were next door at the candle store and overheard a customer rave about the lunch she had here. She was not wrong. The only misstep was the pepperoni- too spicy for my wife. But cheesy bread, sliders, Italian beef sandwich, chippers and cinnamon sugar dessert puffs were all amazing. We live about an hour away and will be back.

traveling through and stopped to grab a bite. store was quite clean. order was placed and delivered quickly. sometimes one just needs to have a roast beef sandwich and curley fries. probably not the most healthy thing in the world but certainly tasty. an overall satisfactory experience

We were in the area, decided to try Roy's. What a find. The food is fantastic. The barbecue sauce is very good and very unique. The owner gave us a sample of the fish that was on special. The fish was good. The fish with barbecue sauce, really good.Didn't have bbq, but we had the burgers. Wow, the burgers were fantastic.

We just happened upon JRs because we needed gas. But what a great find. Small town feeling, excellent service, and food. My son had the philly cheesesteak which was loaded with peppers and onions and my husband couldn't finish the belly burger that was stacked 6" high. Highly recommend this small gem.
