Saw this place advertised on Johnny Carson and decided to make a day of it as we drove over an hour to get here. We felt welcome the minute we walked in door. Our waiter was fast and efficient. The rolls were warm and yeasty. The French onion soup was super cheesy and delicious. The crab cakes were perfect. The meatloaf was really good. Overall, a really good dining experience. Glad we made the trip.

Dined on a week night. Very few patrons there. Restaurant was clean.Caesar salad was very fresh. Steaks were prepared as requested, but quality of meat was not steakhouse standard. In fact, ribeye was a bit tough and not very tasty at all.Waitress was very nice, but EXTREMELY slow throughout the visit. After completing our meal, and dished were removed, we waited a LONG time for our check.

Family chicago style pizza joint
This small family run place does an excellent job. Three of us shared a Cesar salad without the chicken and a large thin crust pizza with sausage, tomatoes and giardenira. The salad was crisp and tasty served with plenty of an excellent dressing (in a package) on the side. The pizza was packed with toppings and delicious. The only thing I would change were the peppers. We thought they would be milder due to the type they were. We like hot peppers a lot but in this case they overwhelmed the other flavors so we picked many if them off. Still, a great pizza.

Happy Joe's Pizzagrille, in Milan, IL, is a premier restaurant serving Rock Island, Moline, Sherrard and the surrounding areas since 1973. We offer carry out and delivery services, catering, event hosting, a lunch buffet Monday through Friday, and Sunday
Just busted since new remodel. Features an attractive sports bar area and buffet. Went on a Sunday and had a brunch buffet. Good hosting service at the door and good table service.

Another speciality of the mid-west that most people don't understand. Those who have had it will crave it for the entire life and will try to convince their non mid-west friends to make the pilgrimage to try the real deal.Ate at the Milan shop; one of the better branches in my view. As usual had the maid-rite with ketchup onion and pickles. Perfect balance of carbs, protein sugars and meats! For those who have moved away; ask your friendly server; they sell the meat by the pound so you can take it away with you to all parts of the world.

We have been eating Harris pizza for 50 plus years. They have expanded their menu over the years to include many other food items. The pasta, chicken wings, and sandwiches are very good. Service is good and usually pretty fast at getting your food. The only problem I have had is parking. Wish they were open a little later at night.

Breakfast for me at any restaurant (including the other 2 breakfast places) is pretty much stripped down as no one subs. I have food issues-egg allergic and celiac sprue (gluten intolerance) and every place I eat breakfast I either have to dump my sides if I order a meal or just order sides. Any way I look at it there is no place in the Quad Cities that I can get a decent breakfast without paying $15 or more for it. At this point I'll just stick with sides or just coffee as I don't have that kind of disposable cash on a regular basis.

My wife and I stopped by here while traveling through the area to visit family. The food ranged from very good to excellent, the service was very good, and the prices decent. It appears to be a favorite of many locals with ample parking and a fairly extensive menu. I would recommend this place when traveling through or staying in the area.Steven, Thank you very much for taking the time out of your day to leave us a review. We love to hear about our customers experiences when they dine with us. We're so happy to hear you enjoyed the food and service we provided. We look forward to serving you on your next visit to the Quad Cities. Take care and thanks again!

Reasonable prices, family friendly, best breakfast and burgers in town, homemade soup, daily specials - all prepared by Chef/Owner, Jose Zepeda.
The wait staff is fast and courteous. The entire facility is spotless. The menus weren't slimy. The seats and table weren't sticky. I'm amazed at the cleanliness for a diner style restaurant. All the condiments were full. The servings were huge and really good selection. The coffee was fresh and tasty. We had omelets and french toast. Both were made with fresh ingredients. I'd go back here every weekend if I lived in the same state.
