First, they have the very best iced cold tea! I treat myself everyday! My husband loves the hot wings. Takes a little while to get the order because they are not dropped until ordered. When my siblings and I travel to my Dad's, we always stop for iced tea and the yummy fried okra!

Was a disappointing stop. Service was somewhat ok. Seemed like we was more of a bother than a customer. We sat at the bar. Service was kinda slow. One of the bartenders told a customer they couldnât stand at the end of the bar because itâs considered being behind the bar and against the law. However the bartenders friends passed through the bar next to the taps all night to use the restroom. I hate double standards. I ordered the nachos because the picture in the menu looked great. However I would never order them again. A few small pieces of tomato, tons of chips but not layered and the cheese was on top not even melted. So you had a pile of chips with cold cheese. My son ordered the burger that Iâm sure was a store patty already made like you get from McDonaldâs.

We recently went to a wedding in Midlothian, TX. Breakfast wasn't offered at our hotel, so we tried Caroline's Country Cafe. It was "home-made" and good. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and courteous. There are little signs and plaques and pictures on the walls that make it feel "homey". Enjoyable and reasonably priced.

Located off 287 in Midlothian about half a block off the frontal road. Free ample parking. Varied menu includes tater tot nachos which were unique and good. Pork ribs small and dry. Sliced beef sandwiches slice into mush. Chicken wing sandwich good. Sides average. Kristen was our staff and she was very helpful. Onions and pickles brought when asked for. BBQ sauce average.
