This restaurant is kind of in the middle of an industrial area, but it was close to where I needed to be, so we gave it a go. It looks like a fine dining place on the internet. It's, at best, a mid range steak house. A little nicer than say Lone Star. The service was average, it took forever to get drinks. The salads came out quickly, but then the main course came out when I was still eating my salad. The worst offense of any restaurant, much less one that is trying to be high end, is when the server comes to the table and has no clue who ordered what dish. There were 2 of us. I am a firm believer that knowing which patron ordered which food is the server's job. It's so rude to have someone standing there holding plates of food and saying "who had the steak?" The food was mediocre at best. My friend liked her steak, but my crab cakes were so so. They made a big deal out of their hand cut fries, but they were not crispy, but greasy and soggy. The Caesar salad was chopped -- it's actually supposed to be whole romaine leaves and you are really supposed to eat it with your hands. The dressing was very bland, and there wasn't a shaving of parmesan cheese to be tasted. The live music from the adjacent bar was loud, maybe it's just Friday nights. The atmosphere otherwise was just OK. They could spruce it up a little with a fresh coat of paint. On the upside, it wasn't very expensive. As always, you get what you pay for. If in Midland again, I would not seek this restaurant out again.

This restaurant is located in the lobby of the Sheraton. They have a wonderful Sunday brunch between 10am and 2pm. It's mostly Southern style cuisine like fried chicken with waffles and biscuits & gravy. They also have Lobster Mac and Cheese. There are huge chunks of Lobster. The biscuits and gravy are served with Bison ground meat and poached eggs. Although, we substituted the poached eggs for scrambled. Service was very quick and friendly. It's a nice out of the way restaurant. Thank you for sharing your experience with us! I am glad to hear you enjoyed our Sunday Brunch! The Lobster Mac & Cheese is my favorite, with the Chicken and Waffles being a close second! :) We look forward to seeing you again soon!

This place has become a lunch regular with my coworkers. Faves include: zucchini sticks, spinach dip, the green chili burger on the jalapeño bun, the club, chicken salad on croissant, Chile relleno, and the roasted red pepper soup. Now if you make space for desert, which you should, order for sure the creme brûlée and the chocolate cake with everything forgot whatâs itâs called but itâs rich!!! The adult beverages are great. Order the pitcher of the berry sangria!!! Great place great atmosphere and great service. If you happen to stop by sit outside itâs temp controlled.

Arrived during the lunch rush, was met at the door by Valerie who promptly seated us. Our order was placed and arrived timely. Food was hot and outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant and again kudo's to our waitress Valerie!

The food at Murray's is always consistent. The curly fries are amazing and I adore the Turkado sandwich! The self serve bar with dressings, fixings and condiments is awesome and let you make it "your own". We meet here for family casual dinners or at lunch during the week with friends.

The place was fairly busy for a Wednesday evening and the crowd was active watching sports and enjoying company. The burgers are priced appropriately and portions are fair. You wonât be blown away with the food but itâs a fun âfriends outâ place. Most burgers (with the exception of non-beef) are greasy. Note itâs very loud.

This is "the real deal." Arguably the best BBQ in Texas. I'm a big fan of their brisket and sausage; but everything is superb. The collection of memorabilia is phenomenal. You won't want to go anyplace else after you've eaten at KD's.

My potato-crusted flounder was quite good. Crispy shrimp appetizer was also good. Extensive wine selection. Shortcomings include more than an hour wait for our food and the general casualness of the experience: no tablecloths, certainly no dress code in Midland, God forbid! Canât gentlemen remove their caps indoors anymore?

This location was the first built from the ground up. It's fashioned after our original location in New Braunfels, with its massive wood support beams, high ceilings and rustic atmosphere, it is like stepping back in time to the 1800's.
The Texas onion rings are AMAZING & a very large portion - the catfish is very good and a large portion The only major downside of this restaurant is the bathroom is horrible- the paper towel dispenser hasnât worked for a couple of years paper towels are laying on the counter ( getting wet ) for you to dry your hands with & the trash can is overflowing ( every time we visit ) We really love the food & eat here several times a year
