I had the Dexter's burger. It was good, prices were reasonable. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it came out well done. They were definitely understaffed for lunch with only one server working. It was at least 15 minutes before the server was able to even come over and offer me a drink (actually saw a couple people leave from the long wait during that time).

We were in town for one night and this restaurant was recommended for its interesting theme/decor. The iron workers on the roof outside are very cool. Inside is fun, with industrial design: lamps on pipes, and several fans running on pulleys and wood/metal tables and chairs, and some games in the back corner. LUCKILY, the food was great! Our burgers were big and delicious, with fries we could have flavored three ways.

Great local bar to grab a burger. It was a good basic burger. Just a quick stop for us on trip back from Marquette to Green Bay. It was cheap! $4.39 for a cheeseburger. I did hit a couple of different pieces of gristle - not good. But otherwise OK. The fries were just so-so. Food came out fast.

We are a cajun/southern inspired restaurant with a casual, fun atmosphere. Serving lunch and dinner with breakfast on Sundays. We offer a full bar and catering services as well.
Had dinner here with my husband and my aunt who lives in Menominee. She had eaten here before and really enjoyed it. She was right - the food was great but the service was not so good, especially for a more upscale kind of place. My aunt and I ordered soft drinks and they were served in plastic cups, which seemed odd.My husband ordered a mint julep for a pre-meal cocktail, a beer to go with dinner, and then a chocolate martini for dessert and they all three arrived before any food did rather than with each course as he specified. The BBQ fried pickles were yummy and then my aunt finally got her salad and then we waited ...... and waited for our food. And waited some more .... The cup of jambalaya my husband ordered never arrived (it wasn't busy). Finally - food started arriving! My aunt got exactly what she ordered, no problem.I was handed a plate of food but it was not what I had ordered; the waitress, Michelle, took it back.My husband had ordered a cup of jambalaya as an appetizer, but it came with the rest of the meal. In fact, Michelle and my husband had a lengthy discussion about how big a cup was vs. a bowl and he ordered the CUP. Well, he got a BOWL. He happily ate it and Michelle only charged us for a CUP, so that worked out okay. His steak arrived along with one of his two sides. The other side he ordered - coleslaw - did not make an appearance, but a side of something he did not order (potatoes?) was delivered. She took that back and said she would bring back the slaw and the actual food that I ordered. Finally, my sandwich arrived (minus the sauce on the side which we pointed out and she said she would bring - it never showed up) and the people at the table behind us were eventually delivered the food that had wrongly been delivered to us, leaving me to wonder who had mistakenly gotten my sandwich in the interim. And who got the sauce? And the missing coleslaw? Oh, I also asked for ketchup and it arrived when I was almost done eating. Still no sign of coleslaw and we just gave up on that. As we were eating, I watched as another table was given the wrong food Our plates were cleared and we were asked if we wanted dessert. My aunt and I declined and my husband still had his now warm chocolate martini that had been sitting there for well over an hour so he declined as well. Then, to wrap up the comedy of errors, the waitress came to our table with a plate of dessert asking us who was splitting it. Ummmm .... we told her we hadn't ordered dessert. She took it away. In sum, the food, once we got it, was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was bad. Food we didn't order arrived, food we ordered never arrived, three drinks delivered all at once. We laughed it all off, but really, we were expecting MUCH better service. And the whole meal took about two hours. In sum: fantastic food, bad service.Â

Yes, I've reviewed this place in past years, but it's a predictable family restaurant to stop when passing through the city. Lunch specials are plentiful, and very reasonable. Comfort foods are plentiful; Friday fish frys seem to be a speciality. A kids'menu is offered. There is a Sunday breakfast buffet. Save pie and/or special ice cream flavors. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We were travelling in the area and decided to stop for a drink. I ordered a simple beer and my girlfriend ordered a very difficult drink that had a whole 2 ingredients to it. The bartender basically had a meltdown. Then some other patrons came in and she also had a meltdown in front of them. They did get up and leave, but we were over halfway done with our drinks, so we did stay. I realize people have bad days, but it could have been handled more professionally. A couple of kitchen employees had to calm this person down, and apologized. We had planned on dining there that evening until that episode. I hate to base an opinion of a business on the actions of one individual, but I don't think we would return if in the area.Iâm very sad you had a bad experience. I know exactly what happened. We had a couple come in and my bartender carded the girl. She did not have her ID with her. Our policy, along with the law, is to not serve that person. The couple became quite belligerent. They said some very hateful things to my bartender. We also have a policy that our bartenders have the right to not serve someone if they donât feel comfortable and that I will back them in their decision. As soon as I realized how upset she was, I called the next scheduled bartender to come in early which she was happy to do. The next day she worked the dinner shift and I received many compliments on that same bartender. So my point is that we at the OC pride ourselves and work very hard to give the best service possible. My bartender followed our policies and then was treated horribly. Yes, she had a meltdown. I, and probably anyone in this situation would have. She came to work the next day and did an awesome job! That is how I know this was an isolated issue. The OC works very hard on service, quality, consistently and teamwork. I hope you can come back and give us another chance!!

We visited on Sunday, June 2, at 3:30pm. They close at 4.We ordered 1 cup clam chowder and 2 soup de jour, 2 iced teas and one ice water. After 10 minutes, the hostess asked if we had ordered. She then brought us the beverages. After another 5-6 minutes we were able to flag down our waitress , Marie, and asked when we could expect our soup. She was rude, condescending and inappropriate- informed us there was only one cook and she was preparing our soups. When the soup arrived, the clam chowder was thick, had a mild fishy taste and was inedible. All 3 of us sampled it and agreed. As bad as the soup was, the waitress was worse. The most condescending and obnoxious we have ever encountered.Over the years, this was a go to stop when traveling through. Never again!I am sorry you had this experience. We do close at 4, they are supposed to stop taking orders at 3. I can only think they had taken the soups off the line and had to re-prepare. We don't get a lot of disappointment in the clam chowder, I will send your comments to the kitchen. Regarding Marie, I honestly am taken a little a back by that, she is probably the friendliest waitress I have and hardly condescending, I have to believe that something was taken wrong. Thank you for stopping and please try us again. Trip Advisor does not get a lot of reviews for Schloegels, Google Restaurant Reviews are daily for the restaurant.

First time ever in this place. Iâd be willing to try again but choose off the menu differently. I ordered a butterscotch malt wondering why the waitress didnât ask me âwhat size?â Now I know why... all beverages come in little glasses! All the food comes miniaturized too! Our burgers came in wrapped paper, not served on plates. No French fries either! You get a bag of chips! All the tables, bathrooms, glassware and food portions are all miniature. The waitress was very nice. Our bill was $19. For what? 4 burgers, one grilled cheese(tiny)1 malt and 2 sodas. Oh yes! There is a juke box in the place for [email protected] cents. Now that was a deal!

Local restaurant that offers numerous nooks and areas to enjoy coffee and/or breakfast. Grabbed breakfast to go as we are boaters and wanted to get on the water. Eggs Benedict were good but should be packaged differently when taking it to go (hollandaise should be in a container rather than on eggs). Corned beef hash and scone were tasty.

Great restaurant. Conveniently located by the marina and waterfront.Wonderful interior atmosphere along with great service.Started with lobster bisque and French onion soup which were both tasty.Blackened whitefish was very good. Pork chop was a good portion and cooked to perfection. Warm rolls were a great compliment to our soup and entrees.Definitely a must if you make it to Menominee.
