hickory wood grill, people magazine, food & wine magazine best in MA
A hot dog food truck - recognized by People magazine as Best in Massachusetts. (Online people called the hot dogs the best in New England!). Three versions of "dogs". I had the traditional with chili - Excellent! Great fresh buns from local Mazzarelliâs bakery. Spicy dog was spicy so be aware. Need to go back and try the traditional sausage. Lots of toppings - hundreds (thousands?) of combinations. Larry Joe is a treat - dogs cooked over wood fire - smells good, tastes great - worth the time. Spend it talking with Larry.

Prezo "A Genuine Gem" (4 Stars) as noted by the Worcester Telegram & Gazette is Milford's best restaurant. Dine in Prezo's casual yet elegant dining room or sit at the 30 seat horseshoe bar while watching the game on one of four plasma TV's. Prezo's also
First visit here and we sat at a high top in the bar area. We were welcomed and taken to a nice table next to the bar. There were two parties going on at the time but as they were in separate rooms, you really did not know they were there. Service was good and order included Onion Soup which was great, not salty and unions cut small enough to enjoy, burgers and fries which were cooked as asked and the fries were very good, Overall the service was good and my only disappointment were the drinks, that were very lite on the alcohol side.

Booked a party for 20 people here & they were so accommodating from start to finish. They allowed us to bring in our own decorations and dessert. We ordered an array of pizzas and chicken and saladâs. Everything was delicious! Servers were so friendly, professional and prompt. Highly recommend

My wife and I stopped at Lowell's for dinner. They had several specials on the menu so I ordered Chicken Parm with spaghetti. My wife ordered chicken pot pie. Both meals EXCELLENT. Service was outstanding as were the meals. Many locals frequent this restaurant and I can see why--excellent food, a varied menu with lots of specials, and great service. Very pleasant wait staff which made the eating experience here even better. A WINNER.

Can't complain about the food, we never got it, walked out at the 45 minute mark, sad really. Simple order for just 2 people, not sure if waitresses weren't squabbling over tables, seems ours was in no mans land, got our drinks, but that soup was just too much I guess. I luv diners, but skip this one until they sort it out.

If you are a people watcher here is a place to go. You order and pay at the first window and pick up at the other when they call your number. There are multiple places to sit to enjoy your meal. On weekends you can get carhop experience or you can sit at the picnic tables in the front or go under tent like area in the back. I had the fish and chips. So good! Comes with French fries, cole slaw and lemon wedge and tartar sauce with a generous serving of haddock, deep fried to a light golden brown. This is a seasonal outdoor restaurant and closes shortly after labor day. Bring the kids, they will love it!

We heard the Prime Rib was very good here. My wife ordered the Queen Cut. I ordered the Flintstone Cut (40 oz). They were both delicious, tender, and tasty. Probably the best I've had and I've had many. The service was also excellent.

Located at Southwick's Zoo, Galliford's Restaurant & Tavern brings upscale New England fare in a cosy, rustic setting to Mendon, MA. Galliford's Restaurant & Tavern is named in honor of Robert Galliford Brewer. Robert Brewer was the patriarch of the Brewe
I have to say my visit to Gallifordâs was extremely disappointing. We visited this weekend as a part of our trip to the Southwick Zoo. Upon sitting, we were initially pleased. The atmosphere was nice and the menu was moderately priced. We expected it to be a bit more expensive as it was attached to the zoo. Despite this, our service that afternoon was atrocious. After being seated, 5 tables with larger parties sat around us (there were 4 of us). They all ordered long after us and received their food much sooner than we did. In fact 4 of the 5 tables had completely finished their meal, paid, and left before we received our food. While we waited no one checked in. Also, when we received our food it was cold and three of the 4 burgers were over-cooked. Also, items like water were not refilled and our waitress never came back to check m if things were alright with the food once we received it. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant. Hello, we are very saddened to see that you had a negative experience while visiting the zoo. We understand that days like that are meant to be an enjoyable experience with friends or family and it appears that your recent visit wasn't what we aim to provide. If you would like to message us privately so we can find out what to do moving forward that would be great!

My family has eaten at Willowbrook many times over the years. We have had good meals and at times just ok meals. In fact there was a time when we came here every Friday evening for dinner. After a couple of just ok dinners we stopped coming. Then we went to a birthday party and the food was good. After that we went a few more times and the food was up and down. This past Friday we went and my wife's fried clam plate was good. I had the chicken alfredo, which I have eaten several times in the past and really enjoyed. This time my dish was like a soup and lacked any real flavor. I pointed it out to my server and she took the dish backed to the kitchen. I believe all that was done they dumped out the soupy liquid and sent it back out for me to eat.Overall our server was good and pleasant. Portion sizes are large. This will be my last meal at Willowbrook to have a sub par meal.

Now that I have your attention. This was a fabulous breakfast! My friend had the Tavern breakfast special and I had the egg sandwich on a Portuguese muffin. Farm fresh eggs since we are close to all the local farms and as I said they make their own sweet sausage patties. The home fries had a wonderful Old Bay style seasoning and of course we had breakfast cocktails. I was so full but determined I was not leaving anything on the plate. The owner is a former catering chef in Boston and knows how to cook food right! Excellent meal and I will definitely return to try lunch and sit on the patio
