Excellent bbq ribs and loaded baked potato. Once order was placed the food arrived within five minutes! Services was great and food was superb. Locals seem to love the food here. The place was jammed packed, wall to wall. Take out was busy. Passed by at 2:30 pm and it was still busy. That says a lot.

Service is greatâquick, accurate, and friendly.Went to dinner with 4 adults and 1 child. Everyone ordered different things and everyone was happy. You canât go wrong with the all you can eat salad barâso many choices and they kept everything tidy and filled.
As soon as we (business lunch) walked in the door, we were greeted from across the room by one of the friendliest persons I've ever encountered during a dining experience. I explained to him, that I had originally thought it was a club, because of the darkened windows, but after reading a review in a local magazine, I discovered it was an eating establishment. Causual dining all the way, laid back, nothing fancy about this place, and I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm saying, three piece suit or tee shirt and shorts the atmosphere fits everyone. We both had the cheeseburger with fries and a drink, it was served to us in quality time, meaning they took time to make sure it was cooked, but were in no means slow. One bite and the burger had already made it into my top five. The burger is a half pound burger that the owner admits is a frozen burger. However they cook them, you will not tell the difference. The owner came over and introduced himself to us, Mark, and also introduced his "little" brother Ed. (Sorry Ed!) Mark asked me how everything was and I explained my top 5 burgers and where his compared. I told him at that time he was a clear #3. He said he was very cool with that especially since it was a frozen patty. The fries were just that. Fries. I'm not a big fry eater, so never judge my reviews based on fries. I do like to season them up, and later saw where they offered Old Bay fries on the menu. We finished up, the owner told us about the DJ he has on certain nights and how it's a mostly middle aged adult crowd, as the DJ plays blues, smooth jazz, etc as you eat and socialize. Mark even gave us a tour of the back room where some of the concerts are held, and I can't wait to promote an event with him. The next visit I had the bacon cheeseburger combo, this time with Old Bay fries, and let me say, I don't know how a burger can get bigger between visits, but this one seemed twice as big. I almost tapped out to it. After eating the burger with bacon added, it clearly moved up to #2 on my list. The menu is full of everything else as well, these guys are legitimate Jersey boys and only serve the food the way it's served up North. The next visit will be to try the pizza and the wings, granted they are wet wings and I'm not the biggest fan of wet wings, but with these guys cooking, I don't see how I can't like them. Now, let's talk about the big daddy, The Hilltop Deluxe Mark told us about it and I nearly passed out from the description. A half pound bacon burger, with all of the toppings of a regular burger, between TWO actual grilled cheese sandwiches. That's four pieces of bread and two pieces of cheese. Two co workers went back and tried it with both giving it excellent reviews. One finished his off, one tapped out, but at least they gave it a shot. Bottom line is this, these guys are sincere when they say they want your business, they offer genuine Jersey Shore area food and have a cheeseburger that can't be touched by anyone in Bessemer. Mark and Ed know that I will be seeing them a lot.

"You're six minutes early." That was the response of the frowning hostess, as she finally noticed us. We had arrived for our 5:30 dinner reservation a few minutes early to soak up the atmosphere, and we had a spa appointment afterward and didn't want to miss it. Upon arrival, the "closed" sign was in place, and it took a few minutes for us to determine if the restaurant was actually open. It's no problem to wait a few minutes, but why not turn the delay into a positive. For example, maybe the hostess could say, "We're getting your table ready, so would you like to enjoy a drink from the bar?" Instead, it felt like we were intruding. Not what I had in mind when I booked the reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday. Overall, the food was pretty good, and the service was average, similar to what you might expect at a basic chain restaurant. This place didn't have the right "feel" for a special occasion, and I had been so hopeful. If you go - The property has a casual restaurant, and we found it to be VERY friendly. So if there's a next time, we will probably skip Brock's and choose the casual dining instead.Dear "Six Minutes Early",Thank you for taking the time to inform us of your recent experience at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa. We are disappointed to learn of the problems you encountered during your time with us. Please accept our deepest apologies for your troubles. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will use your review as a way to improve. We do hope to see you at the castle again soon!

I love the food here, and I eat here at 3 to 4 times a month. I love the fried catfish, I love the sweet potato, meat loaf, cream potatoes with gravy, cabbage, and they sell orange cream sodas! The dumplings are wonderful when they have enough juice on them. Good food.

Back in 2004, Kash along with some classmates had decided to plan a restaurant for their senior level marketing class at UAB. The project took the full course of the semester and after several grueling months of research they came up with an idea to start
As a native of south Louisiana , I was disappointed. The boiled crawfish was not good. They were large, however, did not taste good. Seasoning was not in boil, it was sprinkled on top. Will never order that again. Fried green tomatoes w crab meat needed more sauce. Crab topping was dry and tasteless. The Cajun Seafood House in Vestavia Hills is much better and with true Cajun authentic taste.

Really good cajun and southern food. Service is super-friendly, but a little slow. They are often out of multiple items, but just keep moving down your list. You'll find something that's good. They have won multiple awards at the local gumbo gala, so make sure to get at least a cup of gumbo - it's awesome. The bisque is really good, too.

Full Moon has a long, delicious history of great Southern-style 'que made in the time-honored, traditional way â with quality meats cooked low and slow over a hickory wood-fired pit and spiced with a mouthwatering, award-winning bar-b-que sauce. We are fa
I'm not a fan of Full Moon's pork products. Their pulled/sliced pork is tender but light on smokiness. Their ribs tend towards small and chewy, too. But the turkey is good, and the brisket is very good. Sides are all excellent, with the collards being my personal favorite. I like the sweet cornbread they serve here, too.Sweet tea is serve-yourself, but other drinks are behind the counter. Several TVs are in the dining room but the sound is low. Free wi-fi is available, too.

Go!! This restaurant has been around for years and the employees are super proud of their history. It is filled with all sorts of memorabilia, especially sports. It's a large restaurant. Service is friendly and excellent.
