Food was very good, and we enjoyed dinner with a river view. We ordered the artichoke fritto appetizer, which was delicious, but arrived with the entrees. I ordered oven-roasted salmon with gnocci (the daily special). Salmon was perfectly cooked, gnocci as well, and the sauces were divine - the kalamata olives and capers added zip to the dish. Other family members ordered scallops and strip steak entrees and were pleased with their dinners. I opted for creme brulee for dessert and was not disappointed. Service, however was lacking - we sat far too long before the appetizer was served, and it came at the same time as our entrees.

The Gunroom restaurant exudes the elegance of the grand steamboat era, with ornate wood trim and an impressive collection of long rifles and ship memorabilia. Along with a classic American menu, the restaurant hosts a Sunday buffet, Murder Mystery, Themed
The Gun Room used to be the ultimate in cool 50 years ago when my parents would take our family for dinner. Historic aspect. Old pictures. Riverboat related nostalgia. It hasnât changed a bit. Still good food, but boy is the place dated! I guess it always will stay that way.Thank you for choosing the Gunroom while dining in Marietta. I apologize for the late response to your review. Unfortunately I must have over looked issuing a response previously. I am glad that you enjoyed your visit. I am happy to let you know that in January we did a complete renovation on the Gunroom. I hope that you have the opportunity to come in ans see what all we have done since your last visit.

Great lunch place, serving specialty salads, quiche, sandwiches, soups, & desserts.
Visited my son who attends Marietta College. We went here for lunch with him as it's one of his usual spots. I had a Gyro which was very good. Very fresh ingredients. Wide variety of sandwiches available as well as a quiche option. Also had a side of cold macaroni salad. It was OK. Not a lot of flavor but did have a nice texture and complemented my sandwich well. My wife had a side of red potato salad which was very good but also very filling so if you decide on that side might want to share it. Iced tea very good. I will come back here every time I'm in Marietta visiting. Great place to eat. You won't be disappointed stopping in for a bite.

My fiancee and myself ate here for lunch. We absolutely loved it! The prices are great and the portions are large. We both got omelettes, which I would absolutely recommend. Our waitress was very pleasant as well. Overall, a great experience.

quick bite before going to a show @ the people's bank theatre...completely our fault for not allowing enough time to enjoy a leisurely meal...ordered 4 appetizers~ scallops, crab cakes, French onion and potato skins...also a cheap Moscato that was really delish!...as far as the atmosphere, it needs a "make-under"...looks a little cheap and cheesy...ie, blue ceiling w/clouds and the carpet looks old and worn...sitting area furniture needs replaced....we would eat here again, allowing more time and a full meal...

The Galley has been a Marietta gathering place for generations. The Galley is quite literally in the center of Historic Downtown Marietta and continues to be the hub of its entertainment world. Marietta College students and alumni meet each other for Home
The last time I ate here I was disappointed. This time I didn't have an occasion for dinner, but -- I must say -- the burger, fries, and beer were just excellent. I had the Swiss burger, with Swiss cheese and mushrooms, on a nice bun with tomato and lettuce. (I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.) The selection of taps is strong; likewise for bottles and cans. I left full and happy. What more could I ask for?

Locally owned craft brewery offering a generous menu of American pub fare including gourmet personal pizzas, signature burgers, chicken wings, hand-cut steaks and more! Open for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week! Kids menu available for kids under 10. Drink
Stopped here for lunch, good burger and great soup! Selection of about eight brews on tap. The ambiance is nice in an old restored building with high ceiling, exposed brick walls. Not five star for me as it was pretty dark inside but beautiful and sunny outside. Overall, good, Iâd go again.

Steak-Sea Food-Pasta & International Cousine Austyn's Restaurant has won the hearts and appetites of local as well as visiting diners by offering an inviting atmosphere. We offer a "different-than-the-norm" menu(Steak,Seafood,Pasta And International Cuisi
We were all in town to visit the museum and the Marietta College Legacy library because we had read David McCulloughâs The Pioneers. We selected Austynâs for its moderate pricing and menu choices, neither of which were overwhelming for a group of seniors. We were not disappointed. The service was a bit slow because preparing and serving the diverse selections for a group six necessitates that. I judge restaurants by how well they prepare my favorite dishes, duck and calamari among them. Both were excellent. The calamari had an Asian twist to its dipping sauce and the medium rare duck was tender with just enough crisp skin under the sauce to make it one of the better duck dishes I have enjoyed dining out. Other dishes ordered were chicken Coconut Lime Chicken, also with an Asian twist and chunky vegetables not over cooked as in many restaurants, and a filet mignon enjoyed by the beef eater in the group. All six of us agreed that dinner at Austynâs was the culinary highlight of the trip in a region not especially known for quality restaurants.
