This restaurant has provided consistently good service, food and reasonable prices for the past year, and we've never been disappointed. It was some beautiful views of the mountains from inside and a large covered patio for outdoor dining. We recommend this restaurant and it's become one of our favorites. Note: it's open to the public.

Wanted a quick lunch after golf because the menu at the golf course was less than impressive. My wife googled restaurants nearby and found the Station. The draw was the lunch special, classic cheeseburger for only $6.It is your typical sports bar environment.. they have a nice patio. We would have sat there but it was a bit windy and a woman was out there smoking, blowing in our direction. The burger was the initial draw but the BALT and the club sandwich caught our eyes. The fries were quite good too.Our server was good, though she seemed to be doing everything herself. So give the place a try. Go for the burger, stay for whatever catches your eye.

The food excellent, the setting beautiful, and the Grille and Lounge are lovely. SocialMembership is offered to the public with no fee but rather an annual expenditure commitment. Well worth it if you wish to routinely enjoy all they have to offer. AndriaThe Preserve at Dove Mountain, AZ

Historical Tucson, Arizona Steakhouse. Available for large functions.
Dining out is not just about eating food. I have been patronizing L'il Abner's Steakhouse for about 40 years...long before it was engulfed by the megalopolis sprawl of Continental Ranch development. The old Butterfield Stage stop has been a Tucson icon for 70+years, where you could get a basic but really good steak etc. Since it WAS a Tucson institution, last night I took a life long friend who was visiting Tucson for the first time for the EXPERIENCE.RIP Abner's It now ranks as one of the WORSE dining experiences of my 7+ decades. Although not particularly busy, it took almost 10 minutes to be seated. Another 10 minutes to get water and menus??? (Note: there didn't used to be menus as there were only 4 items available.)It was all downhill from there. The food (if one could call it that) was horrible. You don't go there for a 4 star Michelin dining experience (although the prices are now approaching that level). Our party of three had the 1 lb. T bone which was barely 1/2" thick, flaccid and dry; a rack of beef ribs, greasy, fatty, almost no meat and burnt to ash on the ends; and the "piece de resistance" a bone-in ribeye which was so tough and grisly that cutting it almost broke the steak knife! Neither the product (would not qualify as "Utility" grade let alone "Choice") nor the preparation of the entrees was even remotely appealing. The sides: the beans tasted canned, the salad just iceberg lettuce, and the "texas toast" seemed to be garlic and margarine slathered wonder bread.None of the three of my group are "complainers" or self styled restaurant critics (this is my first review ever) but this was INEDIBLE. I wouldn't even feed this food to dogs. All of our party have some gastric distress this morning. Health inspection????Attempting to report this first with our server and ultimately with the manager was the next stage of this ordeal. After much back and forth, in a begrudging effort to mollify us first deducted only a portion of the "bone-in ribeye" off the bill and ran my credit card. When I asserted that this was NOT satisfactory to the manager, they ask me for my credit card again so that they could further adjust the bill, the manager saying that she was only charging us for the drinks (1 beer 1 wine) and server gratuity, but in actuality only adjusted the bill a few dollars all in the dark of the corner of the bar. THEN they posted BOTH charges through to my credit card!!!! (the charges are in excess of $150 for three). The only thing they could have done to make the entire experience worse would be to have physically assault us.In summary STAY AWAY!!!! there is a landfill only a few miles away where you could scrounge a better meal. What a tragedy that such a Tucson Icon has deteriorate to this degree.

You'd think in our 70 years we'd have tried one of these establishments before but this was our first. A short distance from our hotel we entered to find the gift shop/waiting area packed on a Wednesday evening. Hostess efficiently took reservations with about 15-20 minute wait. Tables are close for maximum seating and noise level was high but our waiter (Eriq) was excellent. In spite of the organized chaos of staff working to accommodate all patrons, Eriq's manner transmitted a calming effect. He was very kind and efficient. As we looked around it became obvious that comfort food is the predominant choice among guests; our tastes lean toward lighter meals. The chicken vegetable salad was delicious. It was nicely presented with a deviled egg, chunk of cheese and several pieces of well seasoned chicken on a bed of garden greens. For $10 if was filling and well worth the price. The soup/salad combo was also tasty and reasonably priced. Seems the Cracker Barrel has done a good job of catering to all types of appetites.

We've been there three times now. Every single time, whether it be a Wednesday, a Friday or a Sunday, the wait has been over an hour. Fortunately there were 2 of us, and the bar had seats open, so our only experience has been at the bar. The first time the steaks were under cooked. They were slammed at the time, and I didn't sent it back because I ate the ribs and just saved the steak for the next day. Reheating it, it became the perfect temp. Their dinner rolls are to die for! The ribs were outstanding and filet was amazing the next day. This is now my new favorite steak place, but during popular hours, there is no parking and a long wait.

Enjoy stunning views, fire pits and signature cocktails in The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain's fire-themed lobby lounge, Ignite. Our lounge features gastro-pub fare, innovative cocktails and single malt scotches from around the world.
We had drinks at the bar at ignite on a few different instances. The cocktails are consistently good. Servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Thereâs nothing like sitting next to a large roaring fire and a cool desert evening and enjoying a very spicy margarita. They know how to do it here. Situated in the fantastic lobby of the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain Hotel the space is large and beautiful with great views. A great place to relax or enjoy a bite to eat.

CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar is a True American Cuisine with coast-to-coast American favorites presented in a brilliantly-flavorful Sonoran desert context. This stunning new restaurant has a contemporary design inspired by the vibrant colors of the earth. CORE
Poor kitchen and wine bar has really gotten to the heart of superior dining. Located in the beautiful Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain resort, Core has beautiful views of its own. The menu boasts a very well rounded taste experience. Fish is well represented much to my happiness. We had two meals here, a dinner and breakfast the next day. Both were outstanding experiences. The wait staff and chefs are stellar, the presentations exquisite , and the cuisine is out of this world. Dinner was one appetizer, a fantastic super special with slivers of black truffle, and two entrées. The paella and the pappardelle pasta with added diver scallops. Both fantastic choices. We opted not to have dessert as we were way too full, but the server brought us a few cubes of what tasted like a delicious banana bread dipped in chocolate to enjoy on the house. Even with two cocktails and a bottle of wine, which we were allowed to bring back up to our room, the bill was very reasonable. Breakfast the next day was also impressive. One of us had the huevos rancheros and the other, the continental breakfast buffet. For a restaurant in a hotel, this one is a stand out. If you are in the Tucson area And especially if you were staying at the Ritz Carlton, you must get to the Core kitchen.
