We were given the recommendation to eat at this establishment by two locals. We were looking for somewhere a bit fancier, but the food was good. The value for the food we got was good too.

These are the best wings anywhere. Not the skimpy little wings with blah flavor you get at chains. These are jumbos bursting with great spicy flavor. We split order of seven- 3 Thai and 4 Korean bbq. Both flavorful with Korean being very hot. Got order of fries as well- very large and we only at half. Bartender very friendly and made us feel like regulars.

We stopped here for lunch last month after visiting the Big Spring. The restaurant wasn't busy, and at the time of our visit only half of the restaurant was being utilized. We ordered our food, and waited, and waited (the couple next to us that arrived after us, got their drinks and food before us). There were four of us in our party, none of us ordered anything difficult and it wasn't busy in the restaurant. It took close to 40 minutes before we got our food. The waitstaff never gave us any update as to why it was taking so long. I ordered sweet potato fries with my sandwich but was given regular fries. When I said something, I was told they were out - would have been nice to know before I got my order. Not sure if its normal, but the fries had so much seasoning on them we couldn't finish them. I don't know what was going on that day, but this was poor service. Hopefully this isn't the norm, but we definitely wouldn't visit if we were ever in the area again.

Very happy to find this Gem! Good beer selection, nice food selection and very good service! The Upper Peninsula has a hard time keeping businesses open for very long, so I hope this one stays! Nice, knowledgeable people doing a great job! They had a good kids menu, which helped our situation this trip!

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon having made an on-line reservation only the evening before and to my surprise the campground was almost empty. Check-in was very easy at the bar/restaurant just off the M-94. The staff member here was very friendly and provided us with good directions to our site.Once we got in to our site, the host took the time to come over and introduce himself which I thought was a nice, friendly gesture. We had site #19 as it is located on the end of a row with no neighbours on our door side - just ferns and trees. The site was long enough for our 40' 5er plus truck. The pad was made of gravel but sloped towards the back and required some leveling on the door side to bring us straight. The utilities are located at the back of the site, which required us to use an extension hose for water as our intake is towards the front of the rig. Our 35' 50 amp cable was long enough to reach. We had a fire pit available but didn't use it. We also had a large picnic bench that we did use. There is no cable tv and we couldn't find any OTA tv signals but their wi-fi was flawless. The washrooms are clean with good access for the disabled. The TP is extremely thin, single ply paper. Perhaps something to do with the septic system? We didn't use the showers because we had our own on-board facilities but they looked ok.There is a laundry with two washers and two dryers. $2 for a wash, $1 for the dryer. The grounds are well maintained and I did see the staff raking the sites when the opportunity arose. For children there is a play area close to the restaurant. As I recall, the on-site camp shop had some strange operating hours and I was never able to find it open during our three night stay. Food at the bar/restaurant is excellent and I would recommend the burger or the beef sandwich. Traffic noise from the M-94 is minimal and didn't bother us at all. The flies and other bugs are ferocious but manageable. We really enjoyed our three nights here, feeling very safe and would certainly stop here again when next in the area.

If you enjoy the Big Boy franchise, you will not be disappointed. The server was friendly and they serve all the Big Boy favorites. The food was good. They added an upper Michigan touch with the moose statue out front dressed in the iconic red and white checkered pants. There is also a little roadside park across the road with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan.

Clyde's is a drive-in located in Manistique, MI on Chippewa Ave. Clyde's was built in Sault Ste Marie in 1949 by Mr. Clyde VanDusen. In the early 90's Clyde's in Manistique has been owned & operated by Cliff & Gail Blose Bring Back the great old fashion t
I recently stopped at the St Ignace location, and their burger was horrible. I found out these are all owned by different people now, which explains the bad burger in St Ignace. So I thought I will try the Clydeâs in Manistique to see if I could get that great old fashioned Clydeâs burger that I am use to.I have to say this location is still making them the old way. Thus, the burger was good. Only issue with it was the cook too much mustard on it. Then why the two stars? The people working were not nice, rude. Maybe because they only like the locals? I felt like I shouldnât have been there. Maybe I shouldâve explained to them that I use live in Manistique when I was younger. Yes, I did, even went to St. Francis De Sale school. Maybe then I couldâve gotten a hello, a smile. Or, thank you for stopping! Similar to the locals that were coming in for lunch. Manistique is not a booming town and the economy in town appears to be struggling. So the people working at this location should start being kind to all customers that stop here. You know, to ensure a stable stream of customers and money coming in the door. Thus, the business stay open and you all get to keep your jobs.In about three weeks, Iâm going to try the Sault Ste Marie location. I have a feeling the Sault location will be the best.

Gyro was very good! Southwest chicken wrap was spicy. Wife got the grilled veggie wrap - she liked that it was served warm. Waitress very friendly. Wasn't the quietest place but it was fun and tasty. Our second time here. We're here in the winter as well.

This is a lovely little cafe right on the lake and the service was quick and friendly! They mostly have sandwiches/soups/salads and bakery items with good assortment of coffee drinks.
