A great find! Bruce, the crass Australian, had the Teriyaki (meat) burger and chips, I took the veggie version with sweet potato fries. Although the typical teriyaki flavor wasnât so prominent, the burgers were still very yummy, chips and sweet potato fries too - all was well at the little beach!

Steve's place is easy to miss, and not where you'd expect to find it (it's in the middle of an industrial area, right by the customs office). But the journey is worth the effort as the food is excellent and the service warm and friendly. The atmosphere is somewhere between American Diner and Rustikales Lokal, so don't get your hopes up too high. But if you're looking for great American food, you've come to the right place. Steve serves up a variety of dishes, created in the way they'd be created in the area of the USA where the dish originates. Some people say there's no such thing as American Food, but there is. And Steve serves it authentically, at a good price and with a warm heart. The pulled pork barbeque sandwich was the best I've had in a restaurant outside of the southern half of the USA - and would actually compete fairly with many of the ones I HAVE had in the south of the USA! If you are ever coming to Frankfurt donât forget to visit this incredible restaurant. The food is outstanding, the portions are large! The meat is tender, i mean tender for real.
