Things to do in Magnolia
We have eaten four times at the Blue Bull. Various family members have had the steak and hamburger. They are well-known for the Blue Bull Burger which has the cheese cooked inside a huge burger. It is one of the better burgers in town. The ribeye steak is excellent with a unique flavor to this restaurant. The portions are good. The only two drawbacks are the side options, which are limited, and the kitchen is notoriously slow. They have delivery service available which is rare in Magnolia. If they would improve their side options and appetizers I would improve their rating by a star. They also need to speed the kitchen to table time. Even when they are not busy the kitchen is slow.
I wanted something relatively light so had spaghetti and meatballs and found them delicious. My dinner companions ordered a slice of pizza for the child with us, and the tastes I had were amazing!
I wish we lived closer so we could enjoy everything on the menu! My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and I had the Reuben with the (TO DIE FOR) tomato bisque! I even asked for the recipe - nope- family secret! Itâs THAT GOOD! Great decor sets the mood for a good time!
This place has some great food. I have eaten there once a day for three days straight. Everything I have eaten was delicious. The staff is excellent and friendly. Mister James it was a pleasure talking to you. I will definitely come back here.

We stopped in tonight and ordered steaks suggested by diners who had finished their meal. We were not disappointed. We ordered the smallest ribeye dinner and enjoyed every bite. The flavor of the steak was excellent and it was served with a large baked potato, salad and bread. We enjoyed a glass of iced tea with our meals but they have a full bar if you would like to enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or other cocktail. We took time to visit with the owner, Wayne, and he showed us the unique hand crafted counter on the bar that is made with pennies. It's very beautiful and quite a conversation piece. We also noticed that each napkin dispenser on the tables displays rustic drawings on napkins that were drawn by Wayne's father. That gentleman is very talented. This stop provided an experience we won't forget, and one we plan to repeat often.
We were visiting in Magnolia after the college football game on Saturday. After attending church with our son, we headed here for lunch. We're fans of Chicken Express, so it wasn't a new experience for us. We were especially pleased with the cleanliness of this restaurant and the efficiency of the staff. The order was delivered hot and everything was correct! We'll be visiting Chicken Express again!

I have been eating here for years, and I have never been disappointed. The prices are great. The food is great. The employees are great. You canât go wrong with Marlarâs if you want a home cooked, Southern meal.

Came to Magnolia to visit a customer and stop here for lunch; my salesman has been raving about this place for two years!!We are from Dallas, so not strangers to great barbecue.I would rate the barbecue here right up there with the best in Dallas! The rib plate was enough for two and the ribs were meaty and very tasteful!I had the biggest barbecue sandwich that I have ever encountered and it was delicious, could not eat it all!!The baked beans were wonderful and the best I have ever had.For $9.69, with 2 sides, this was the deal of the day!!Service was excellent and we did not have a long wait to be served our food.Drinks are self serve...I would definitely like to come back here...

We were referred here by the desk clerk at the Hampton Inn and glad we tried it.Nice, clean environment with plenty of help. You order at the counter and get a number; food is brought to your table. We had the single burger plate with fries.Burgers were delicious and cooked just right.Hand cut fries were the best I have ever had!!Drinks are self serve.Prices are reasonable...They also serve seafood and the salmon looked really inviting.Definitely worth the visit!!
