After a 250 mile drive we were ready for some good Bar-B-Q. We ordered the ribs for two with 4 sides for $39.95. Big mistake - it was like trying to eat leather. The sides were OK but it was a waste of our money and time. We saw most people eating Burgers and they looked good. The locals must know to avoid the ribs. A real dive!

Had lunch on Sunday and the burger I had was great. The Irish fries were a little soggy but tasted good. They struggled with service because of a short staff. That should not happen on a Sunday during football season. The burger made up for the slow service so that's why I gave them 4 stars. I will be back.

Serving Maggie Valley for 33 years, our family has been in the restaurant business since 1935 with over 20 restaurants (Manero's) both on the East coast and in south Florida. We are know for our succulent prime rib, steaks, Gorgonzola cheese salad as well
The prime rib is excellent here and so is there Gorgonzola dressing for their salads. We just ate there last week and are always happy with the meals there. We do appreciate your excellent review and happy you enjoyed our specialties, prime rib and Gorgonzola salad. Glad you chose us for your special dinner out

Service very efficient. Breakfast food was well prepared. We had pork chop and eggs with tomatoes on the side sourdough toast...very tasty. Also corn beef hash and eggs platter also very good .was disappointed when I paid the check and was charged extra for using a credit card. The gentleman that checked me out wasn't real personable. Otherwise would have been a five star.

Stopped in for a quick bite, decided on the #1 Maggie Valley special pizza....basically an everything pizza. Very cheesy and delicious, crust is medium but cooked in a brick oven so delicious and chewy. Beer was cold, service great and a tiki bar outside as well.

Kick-start your day with a delicious breakfast at Pop's Place. You can trust us to serve you fresh food every day. We accept online orders and reservations at our family-owned and operated restaurant.
After reading reviews and seeing the #1 rating we were excited the day we drove by here and there was parking available. Pop's is a very small place and we had tried to eat here two other days but they were super busy.Anyway, french toast did not come with the whip cream like it should have, over easy eggs still had runny whites. Coffee refills were hard to come by.Service in general was lacking and we felt like we were not welcome. Like we were putting the servers out for being there.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. We wanted to eat at Joe's pancakes but they were too crowded & we didn't want to wait. Country Vittles doesn't look spectacularly the outside & isn't the fanciest on the inside but they're family style all you can eat breakfast was very good. The only thing I didn't care for was the amount of grease that was on the bacon & sausage. PLEASE drain these on some paper towels or something. Other than that, no complaints. The biscuits appeared to be frozen baked but that's fine. The gravy was good, eggs, grits...all good. The home style potatoes were very yummy. Plus you get cooked apples. Love those with biscuits & gravy. We would definitely go back. Everyone was super friendly. Nice little place to get your breakfast & I heard lunch was just as good.

Firefly is a Southern restaurant serving fried green tomatoes, roasted brussel sprouts, locally sourced trout, along with caesar salads and a flavorful cut of ribeye. We serve cold drafts beers and ciders from Western North Carolina, plus a wonderful wine
This restaurant is right on Main Street in downtown Waynesville. They have seating inside and out. We stoped in for lunch. The menu has lots of interesting selections. We got the chicken salad sandwich and sliced tomatoes as our side. The sandwich was toasted which melted the cheese which added to its goodness. The tomatoes were seasoned with just the right herbs and spices. Our server was efficient and checked on us several times.
