We were looking for somewhere to eat for breakfast when we left the campground. There isn't much of anything in Luray so we stopped at Hardees. Surprisingly, it was very busy and the food wasn't bad at all. Hardee's has pretty decent breakfast!

Welcome to The Valley Cork! Our wine bar/restaurant is located on Main Street and is the perfect place to come and explore our extensive wine list and enjoy our excellent food menu. All of our wines (over 60) are available by the glass, bottle, or to go!
Lovely venue with very knowledgable friendly staff. Their menu has a whole host of cheese boards, sandwiches, and delicious snacks. Their All Cheese Board was exceptional, espeically paired with our wine. They offer wine flights for a very reasonable price. Their wines are from all over the United States and Europe. If you are driving through the area, it is worth a stop in to try something different ! It will not disapoint.

The Steaks at Dan's are more than generous portions. The prices are fair for what you get. The atmosphere is quaint, country and friendly. No padding to the chairs or benches, so be ready. Due to the popularity of the restaurant, the wait staff is frequently overwhelmed. I actually spoke to the waitress at the adjacent table more often than I did my own.

My family went in on a Saturday morning to get a light lunch before attending a wedding. We all just ordered sandwiches and 45 minutes later we were still waiting for sandwiches. The last sandwich to come out was a club sandwich. You just stack fillings on toast, why did it take so long. Our waitress was not that interested in us and seemed to be annoyed with our presence. The food itself after all that wait wasn't even that good. I would most definitely skip this place.

Family restaurant offering large menu plus dinner buffets and brunch buffets on weekends. Gluten free bread and pasta options. Large salad bar.
On a recent trip to Shenandoah Caverns, we decided on the way back home to stop for an early dinner. Not many options out this way, although we passed at least 3 restaurants which had gone out of business. Brookside didn't have the greatest ratings on Yelp, but we decided to try it anyway. Good choice. We had an appetizer of onion rings, which were very good. I had the Brookside burger & fries, which was outstanding. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich, which was pretty basic. The place is kind of rustic, and the service was okay. I would recommend you give it a try if you're spending a day out this way.Mike, we're glad you found us and were brave enough to try a new adventure. We're sol glad you enjoyed your meal. We've served thousands of satisfied customers both locals and visitors, even though some of the Yelp reviewers may have made you think otherwise. Thanks for taking time to share your experience.

Moonshadows Restaurant is the newest and most unique restaurant located in downtown Luray, Virginia. Much time and thought have been given to providing a location which offers beautiful surroundings with the comfort of the guests in mind. The building has
We ate here with friends for dinner. Cute place, we were really looking forward to it. The young lady who greeted us was total low energy and honestly just started the evening out wrong. "Do you want to eat here" is not the greeting you want. If she had any lower energy, she'd have been asleep. She was clearly not well trained, tired or lacked the enthusiasm to greet customers. Maybe she was just bored. The service was fine, we had a booth but the cushions are not fixed so the overly large person sitting behind us (who insisted on getting up at least 4 times) would sit back down and push the chair back and forth into uncomfortable and annoying positions. We both had salads - they were really really good, quite excellent. Our friends got a salad (also excellent) and pork tenderloin (He said it was just fair). Spring Rolls looked like pre-made/pre-cooked and just deep fried. They took a really long time to arrive. Probably just an off night as the reviews indicated this should be better than it was. We'll give it another shop in the future. I give it a very good rating because the salads were that good!

So delicious, and beautifully decorated! Went here for our Anniversary dinner, and it was perfect! Everyone was so friendly, and we enjoyed the woman playing the piano throughout the dinner, as well as the comfortable, not stuffy, but beautifully decorated dining room. Fabulous staff and chef! Couldn't have had a better Anniversary dinner!

This cafe in the cute town of Luray serves good coffee and a full menu of sandwiches, soups and salads. I had a quite tasty potato-bacon-cheddar soup and my husband ordered a bagel with cream cheese that he said was very good--quite a compliment considering that we live in NYC, which is bagel central.

We stopped here twice to get lunches to bring on hikes. The sandwiches were delicious and filling! Everything was made fresh to order. Highly recommend!
