Of all the Buc-ees that I have been to in Tx, this is one of the smaller store while the parking is great. Lots of pumps. Need to watch out for drivers that are looking for an open pump. What I don't understand, why people would park in front of a pump, go into the store to buy things and then pump the gas! Why can't you pump the gas, move over to parking space, and let someone pump their gas! Got to get a BBQ sandwhich and some Buc-ee nuts to snack on the road. The restroom are always clean.

Original City Market BBQ provides traditionally made, world-famous, BBQ, including briskets, ribs, and sausages to the Luling, TX area.
Driving through and stopped here as we always did for last 20 years. The brisket was horrible and beans tasteless. The ribs were still good, but we were completely surprised how the flavor and texture were no longer a part of the brisket. Where are we suppose to eat now. This was the 1st bbq joint on my list. Now it not, so sad. Does the place have new owners or new grill masters? I also blame the morning news program who did an segment on this place awhile go. The demand was so high that quality we out the door. Hoping it was a bad day and it will be better next time.

Blake's is the Go To Place if you want awesome food at reasonable prices. The Chicken Fried Steak is breaded just right, fried crispy, and smothered with an really good mushroom gravy. With the two sides that come with the meal, you won't go home hungry.

I've eaten here several times and have always had good food. I would have to say it wasn't quite as good as the last times I've eaten here. I got the 2-meat plate (brisket and jalapeno sausage). The sausage was 5-star. The brisket was only 3-star. They were already out of mac n cheese as a side. I may eat here again but since I haven't tried the BBQ place across the street that I am told is better, next time I just might have to switch.
Got in about 12:45, surprised they were so busy since this is a steak and taters town. Took a while to get to the order desk but when we did we had great service. Two guys working hard to get your order exactly how you want it. Extra toasted, double extra toasted....whatever you wanted. This place doesn't take over a $20 bill so I had to change out a $50 that the local behind me had. Also, as is apparently Subway policy, they give you like 1 napkin per sandwhich....I always have to go ask for more, this is a messy sport! $6 got me a drink, tuna sanwhich, and chips. All and all an outstanding first visit and would stop here again.
