Several years ago, my wife and I were treated to lunch at The Wapiti Pub. The food and the expansive outdoor views were good. We decided to return for an early dinner and invited a friend to join us. When we arrived at 5:00, we had our choice of tables and took one by the window with a nice view. The menu had plenty of choices from starters to sandwiches and burgers, to salads and full meals. The restaurant was beginning to fill by the time we placed our orders. Our friend had a loaded burger, slaw and sangria. My wife had a BLTA (A for avocado spread), rice and sangria. I had the Colorado river trout, sweet potato fries and a pleasant glass of Kolsch style beer. Our friend thought her hearty burger was delicious and she ate every bite. My wifeâs BLTA was very good. Both the sangria fans thought Wapitiâs version was excellent. My trout was prepared just tight and my sweet potato fries were as good as Iâve had in a long time. To top off our good dinners, we shared a flavorful piece of tiramisu cake. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. We were glad that we returned to The Wapiti Pub.Hi Henry,Thank you for stopping back in! We're thrilled to hear that your evening was great and filled with delicious food. We appreciate hearing all of your meals were great and well prepared. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

The chips and guac are good although the cocktails seemed a bit watered down. Overall atmosphere was good- we sat in the bar. On a Friday night, it was the only real busy place of the other choices you could walk to.

This is a steak house that does not have prime rib on the menu. Food was just OK, overpriced, silverware dirty. Limited wine selection. Just one chardonnay by the glass. Hadn't been there for some time. I rememberd it being better but this was my last visit.

I went here to eat with my family. The place has a nice Cajun atmosphere to it. The staff is friendly and so were many of the other patrons, especially concerning my toddler. He was playing with an older couple sitting outside next to us through the glass. I had the jambalaya and my wife the gumbo, both were a bit spicy which is to be expected but oh so good. The hush puppies were a great appetizer. They had a great selection of mules to drink also

After seeing the reviews of Doug's and even getting a local recommendation, we were expecting something really outstanding, but, in our opion, it was just adequate. We were there for breakfast and my husband got his favorite - biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were pan-fried which was something new for us, but he thought they were really heavy and seemed not quite done in the center. He said the gravy tasted like a mix. The bacon was thick-cut which seems normal for Colorado, but didn't have any flavor. I had pancakes, eggs and bacon. Ditto for my bacon, too thick and not enough flavor. The pancakes and eggs were okay, but nothing special. The service was fine and the staff was cheerful and welcoming, but we were expecting excellent food and felt like we only got mediocre.
