Longueuil (/lɒŋˈɡeɪl/; French: [lɔ̃ɡœj]) is a city in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is the seat of the Montérégie administrative region and the central city of the urban agglomeration of Longueuil. It sits on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River directly across from Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2016 Census totalled 239,700, making it Montreal's second largest suburb, the fifth most populous city in Quebec and twentieth largest in Canada.

We came for Saturday Brunch. They don't take reservations so we ended up waiting in line for 1 hour to get in. Despite that, the brunch options were good. We ordered the Montreal Smoked Meat Eggs Bennie. Very generous portions. We were full until dinner. Our waiter was very nice. The service overall of the restaurant is slow. I feel they could move diners in and out much faster to avoid line ups.

We did not have a good experience here. The food we ordered was cold (even though it was meant to be a hot dish) and did not taste good at all. Also, the majority of the waiters were extremely sick and coughed by our table every time they walked by. The service was not attentive.Dear Miranda, We are so sorry you did not enjoyed your dinner at Méchant Boeuf. These kind of situations are not up our standards and we are working hard to make sure it never happen! We are surprised and also really sorry to read that our waiters were sick, as we do not recall anybody being sick in the past month. Although it is allergy season! Once again, we are really sorry yu did not have a great time and we hope to see you again on your next trip to Montreal for a second chance.Team MB

This is a chain, but it's consistently good with consistently good service. I've been here a few times. The location in old Montreal is a fun addition, especially if you have a view of the street (which right now is under construction). I took some friends here and they all enjoyed their meals - two ordered filet and two ordered fish dishes (the rice was particularly yummy - I had never tried it before). So many restaurants require reservations in advance which you can't always do. This is a good place to go when you are not able to do reservations more than a day or two ahead. You don't have to have reservations to come here, but it's a good idea.
