We stopped with 2 bus full of kids. They were not ready for this many people so it was slow going and under staffed. The subs were good and staff was friendly.
Our waitress AJ was great she greeted us as we sat down and gave us menus, and took our drink order , the place was very busy but she took our order and delivered it within a few minutes , she made us feel comfortable and took great care of us The prices are good and the food quality is outstanding. Even with a busy noon rush we were served quickly and never rushed to leave so it was an enjoyable time I have reviewed this location before but could not find it so I felt I had to because of the excellent service
We like to have the salad bar with our meals. We usually have sandwiches but have also tried the fish. The soups on the salad bar are great - made right in the kitchen, and if you can get cheesecake, go for it.
Eclectic dive bar and eatery located in the heart of downtown Litchfield Minnesota. Serving breakfast, lunch, & dinner with a full bar!
My daughter and I ate here on a Saturday for lunch. I had Korean BBQ boneless chicken wings with Onion Sticks (?) and she had an artichoke dip burger with tater tots. The quality of the food was excellent! Our only concern was that the food was not quite hot. It was cooked to doneness, just not hot. The server was excellent, the food came quickly so I know it wasn't sitting. I think it's just a"growing pains" kind of thing. Anyway, great experience, will definitely be back!
We stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner. It was busy but not full. We could carry on a conversation dso the noise level is good. Service was very good. The chicken nachos were Ok, the chicken was spiced with too much cayenne and they use cheese sauce so I would not recommend the nachos. A bacon cheese burger was good and could be better if they used fresh beef and was a 6 ounce patty. The Brisket sandwich was very good it came on thick Texas toast that made it hard to take a bite out of. The onion rings are large and very greasy. Saturday has a steak and shrimp special that 2 of us ordered and they thought the steak was very good. They have 2 for 1 drinks all the time and they are a little higher than normal priced for 1 drink but when there are 2 it comes out ok.

Traveling around in the area and as dinnertime approached, we scouted out the local food scent. When we travel we like to eat local. The views here are wonderful and the menu selection is better than most. We were seated with a view of the lake (it makes the experience so much better). Our wait staff was prompt, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has an okay salad bar but there are limited selections in fresh vegetables and proteins. They did feature two soups and a hot appetizer as well. Along with the regular menu, Peter's has a buffet dinner on the weekends. It has many hot entrée options including their well known ribs. The main menu features a regular American menu with meat, chicken and fish. The food was filling and tasty if not spectacular. They are comfortable making substitutions to the menu and you really can have it "Your way". Just what you would expect from a upscale local small town venue. They have full bar. Prices are very reasonable. If you are in the area you shouldn't be disappointed.

Small mom and pop cafe small town all the locals go coffee 10cents can't beat it in Minnesota heard and saw locals helping ohers all friendly people.
This is our go-to spot on our way from the Twin Cities to Ortonville. We have to stop for lunch or breakfast whenever we go by. Swan's has all of your Midwest comfort food favorites: breakfast just about every way you could think of having it; juicy fried chicken; home style hot turkey and roast beef dinner plates smothered with gravy and mashed potatoes; burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads - of course, your choice of pie, a la mode if you desire. You may have a brief wait at peak times, but I promise that it is worth it! A perfect place for kids, especially if they have been couped in the car for awhile.

Excellent, small town restaurant. Good beer selection and excellent burgers. The daily specials may seem plain but their spin on changing up the ingredients make them worth a try. Great soup variety too and the portions are worth the middle of the pact prices.
