Poor substitute for a decent Mexican restaurant. Salsa was not good, minimal flavor and virtually no spice. I ordered enchiladas which arrived with some yellow cheese-like substance on top. Disgusting! If you have a chance pass this place by.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
We tried several menu items very early on a Sun morning. We were the only two customers that were there. Their biscuits and gravy were very good. Probably better than any other we've had in a long time. Better than Bob Evans, Denny's, Village Inn, etc. Sausage patties themselves are a bit too spicy. Don't get me wrong we don't like bland food either, but a little too much spice. The omelet was ok. The shredded hash browns, portions of those were cooked somewhat too crispy. The regular pancake, well not the worst and not the best we've ever had. It was like, ok. Not much of any flavor to it. Pour enough syrup on it and it's not bad. My guess would be it might be made from waffle batter rather than pancake batter, not sure.Overall it's not bad.
My daughter and stopped here for a famous float before we headed back to Texas. It was not a very good send off-not, at least, if they wanted us to come back. The floats were worse than something we would slap together at home. We won't be back.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca

My husband and I enjoy eating at the Maverick Bar. The appetizers are great, as is the menu they offer. The mixed drinks can be hit and miss depending on who is tending bar. The employees are friendly and you'll see both locals and people just passing through.

Spent the night in Litchfield while traveling and found this place on TA. Jeanne, the waitress was very helpful and friendly. I had the fried pork tenderloin sandwich. Very large piece of pork on a good bun, with all the veggies. YUMMY. The waffle fries were also very good. I will probably never be in Litchfield again, but I would recommend this place. This place is cheap eats.

120+ seating very cozy attractive family pizzeria. Lunch and dinner buffet along with a huge selection of pastas and subs, calzones & wings
We happened to stop in here for lunch, and were pleasantly surprised by Pizza Man. I would highly recommend their thin crust pizza. Three of us were there, and everyone enjoyed it. It was also fairly busy for 2:30 in the afternoon in this small town.

If you're looking for average not-quite-fast-food, this is your place. Their cocktails are probably the best feature of the meal. Hostess wanted to seat us at the bar, even though there were plenty of empty tables, but we asked for a table. It took our server a long time to return for our orders, and although he was nice, he continually dropped the ball. There are plenty of other good restaurants in Litchfield and the surrounding area where one can get a better meal with better service, we chose RT's as it was a holiday weekend and some of the local restaurants had shortened their hours and weren't open for dinner.

The Ariston Cafe, in Litchfield, IL, is the area's premier restaurant serving Montgomery County, and travelers along Old Route 66 between Chicago and St. Louis since 1924. This is a great place for locals and world travelers to come and experience great f
What a great place! The longest continuously operating cafe on the iconic Route 66. We stopped here for lunch on our Route 66 journey from St. Louis to Chicago. Very nice, well maintained and clean cafe. Even had tablecloths! The food was great. The service was great. The deserts were to die for. The history was even better. A must stop for any Route 66 history buff.
