Stopped at Big Biscuit this morning. I ate at the counter and was efficiently taken care of by Jennifer. The "Jim's Platter" (two eggs, potatoes, B & G) was excellent. It came out of the kitchen quickly. Jennifer is an experienced waitperson, and that combined with the food made this an excellent experience.

54th Street was founded in Kansas City, MO by Thomas E. Norsworthy in 1989. He envisioned a place that would accommodate a consistently crowded dining room as well as a lively bar crowd, while offering the quality food and drinks that exceed national chai
Stopped in for dinner while spending a night on a trip to the upper Midwest. Stepping in, one gets the feeling that you have been here before. That's because chains such as this start resembling each other no matter where you travel. Applebee's, Chili's, you name it. Too much stuff on the wall, too noisy, and a cookie cutter atmosphere. The real kicker? While walking to our booth, I noticed (among a very crowded wall display), a 3 foot by 5 foot glass ad for Guinness Draught. Ooooo, I thought. I'll have one. When I ordered it, the waiter said they don't serve it. So, why the big ad? Something to fill up the space. Nice touch - NOT! We were in the mood for tacos, so we both ordered the taco plate, with chicken. Rice and refried beans were cold, the lettuce in the tacos was very limp, and the chicken was like cat food out of a can. I know, the menu says shredded chicken, but this was lousy. Won't go back.

Chick-fil-A's all over the country are consistently good. I get the same great flavors at each store. This one is no exception. Our nuggets were hot and tasted great. So were the waffle fries. My only knock on this store and most Chick-fil-A's are the lines. It's not really fast food when it takes 15 minutes to get to your turn. This store is particularly bad considering the traffic patterns. The lights to get in and out are congested and can take a couple of rotations to get into the parking lot. Once you get into the parking lot, it's packed as well.

There has always been a small restaurant at the âCornerâ in Riverside, Missouri. Enter Ed & Kathi Rule. They had never been in the restaurant business before, but they always felt they knew what good food was all about. It began on May 15, 1983, when they
This was likely our last trip to a Corner Cafe after going there for years,$4.49 slice of strawberry pie had ONE strawberry in it, rest was just filler. Ham & Bean soup had gristle/fat. $5.99 hamburger(no sides) was a frozen pattie like you'd get at a QT.At least the banana cream pie was very good.Roxanne's is better/cheaper IMHOWe strive to serve high quality 'comfort food' prepared simply. We choose to use higher quality ingredients and larger portions than most of our competition which means that our costs are often times greater than theirs. We are very sorry to hear about your experience with the food you ordered. We seek to offer great food to each guest and clearly your visit was not what we strive to deliver to our customers. If you would be willing to send your contact information to [email protected], we would like to further address the issues you experienced.

Hadn't been to this place since it opened almost 20 years ago. I ordered poblano and mushroom smothered chicken with potatoes and gravy...was pretty good. Unlike some other reviews I felt the portion sizes were small even after I ordered the shrimp kicker addition. Main gripe about the place is it's soooo loud. I guess that could be considered part of the ambiance, but it's not my cup of tea.

This place rocks. It's a little hard to find as it's a plain square brick building set back in the corner of the parking lot. A smoothie or juice shop is being built right in front of the restaurant, so it's going to be even harder to see.Longboards is a no-frill place serving up fantastic wraps and bowls. The Hawaiian decor and menu names are fun, but the food is the reason to visit. The Cabo Chicken wrap with guacamole, pepperjack, pico de gallo, rice and chipotle ranche was so good. We had several items from the menu and loved them all.An added bonus are the great guys behind the counter. They are friendly, helpful and joke around. They make a great place awesome. KCPD officers go here, they know where to find the good food.

The best fried Cajun seafood in the northland, canât go wrong with the gator, catfish and fried shrimp bites. Fried pickle chips are awesome, conch fritters are questionable, more fritter than conch (clam?) Refreshing frozen fish bowl beers made up for it, and our wait person was awesome.

I've eaten both lunch and breakfast at Ginger Sue's and never been disappointed. There breakfast selection covers anything I could want. And I highly recommend tenderloins for lunch.
