We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
I went to Laurinburg in March of 2014 . It has been years since I have been there because I now live in Las Vegas , Nevada . I went to breakfast with my son , my sister , and my niece . They grew up in Laurinburg and I grew up in Bennettsville , SC . Anyway , the food was very good and the service was of course Southern Hospitality . My niece knew one of the waitresses from high school and they chatted about the past . It was a nice experience . I have to say though that the Waffle House I went to in Fayetteville was off the charts good and the Huddle House wasn't even close to as good . I would recommend eating here and I would have like to eaten here for lunch or dinner once , but wasn't in town long and ate at other places during my stay .

well first this place was packed and drive thru lined up, I am sure it had to be from beach traffic. Stuck it out though and got table. The salads are great here, yes it is a little costly but worth it. The cleaning crew considering how busy it was needed to be out cleaning tables off to keep accommodating all the people. The only thing I disliked was their microphone and the constant yelling into it for order numbers, I think this can be done without having to do this. Yes, it was noisy in there but otherwise it was ok.

The Golden Corral in Laurinburg, NC is a smaller sized Golden Corral that is near the main highway and near lots of other retail establishments.Golden Corral is supposed to be a buffet themed restaurant that specializes in American classics with a huge bread and salad bar along with tons of desserts. This particular Golden Corral does not come close to this standard.Food - the bar was mostly empty during our visit. We had to keep asking the waitress to see if they could refill the bar with food. I am not talking about obscure favorites, but their wings and ribs, which is what they are highlighting at the moment. The food was cold and old. When they did put out wings and ribs, they were nasty. I have never had worse ribs in my life. Absolutely disgusting food would be my summary.Service - the waitress was a nice girl who was trying hard. She stated that the place had been basically empty since the last price increase. We paid $33 for two people, not including tip. You could tell the staff was unmotivated and had low morale. It was also obvious that they did not have enough people working since our waitress routinely went behind the bar and put out food!! This meant she provided slow service to her tables.Value - none at all. Absolutely don't eat here. I am not picky and have been called a human trash can. I will eat anything....but, I would never eat here again.
Best wings ever and you can choose a flavor of sauces to go on them. Loved it and will definitely go again.

This is a super clean place and the staff was quick and helpful. The food was hot and quickly served. The restroom was clean and the parking lot was well lit.
Usually go here on Wednesdays with mom since it's senior citizen discount day. Good quick seafood for a fairly good price. Has a fast-food kind of vibe but with a greater variety of sides.

Itâs a very low grade of southern food, buffet style. A lot of canned tasting food put out on a buffet. I am so sorry you conceived our food is of "canned tasting". It by all means is not. our collards are locally grown that is cut and cooked in our kitchen. We buy fresh produce. Squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, collards, corn, etc. I trust that maybe it was just off menu day when you came and you'll give us another try. We have expanded our bar just a few days ago and added some other popular dishes. We are grateful that you stopped in and look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you.

We came with a group of 13...adults and kids. The service (Samantha was our waitress) was kind, quick and welcoming. She knew the answer to every question. The food (Cajun chicken/kids Calabash/mango chicken tacos) were all so good. Would definitely return!

Stopped here on our way home from the coast. We didnât want fast food for lunch so we checked handy-dandy trip advisor. This is a mile off the highway and just past St Andrews College. We had big juicy cheeseburgers and hot fries and got a scoop of chicken salad that tasted like my motherâs! Good service, clean restaurant and great food. Worth the few minute drive to find it. Iâll be stopping here on my next beach trip.

We stopped in with 12 people and were greeted right away. Everyone got their beverages and ordered. The server was friendly but clueless on how to serve a large group (not her fault by the way). The food received mixed responses from excellent to poor. Prices were on a the high side. Certainly not a place to go on a budget. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. If you go be aware that it is hard to get to, not an easy entrance.
