One of our favorite places! A special treat once or twice a year. We've been to a few locations, and this is one of our favorite. You get to eat in a historic building! A kiln no less! Kinda neat. We always request lovers lane. A pretty private booth for two. Perfect for my hubby and I. We signed up for their mailing list, so around your birthday, they send you a coupon for a 6 pack of chocolate covered strawberries. Yum! And it's good for almost 2 months after! We got the 4 course meal. It's about a 2 1/2 hour experience. Very relaxing. We got a couple alcoholic drinks. They are SUPER strong. Out of 5, we only drank 1. Way too strong. For our cheese fondue, we got Wisconsin trio, minus the blue cheese. It was really good. We love the bread and apples. Veggies are too hard. We usually skip those. Salad comes next. We try not to fill up too much on that. Haha. Hubby got 4 meats. Filet Mignon. Dry rubbed pork. Chicken breast, and prawns. He added on a lobster tail. All were delicious! I got the honey orange chicken, teriyaki marinated sirloin, Angus beef, and potstickers. All were really good. They come with 2 different batters. They are quite messy. I ended up just cooking the meat without. We chose oil. You get dipping sauces. Our absolute favorite is the green goddess. Yum! The teriyaki and sweet and sour are really good. You also get a curry one, and blue cheese? We don't like those ones. Get extra green goddess! Yum!Then dessert. Ohh delicious dessert. I don't care how full you are! Do not skip! We got the cookie butter crunch with milk chocolate. Yummy! We added on the extra desserts. So we got cream puffs, cheesecake, berries, brownie, marshmallow, angel food cake, maybe pound cake? , strawberries, bananas, waffers, pineapple, and rice Krispy treats. So good!Great food. Great atmosphere. Although, the barhroom was absolutely disgusting! That is my only complaint. We love this place, and keep coming back.

This was a meal that was not going to go well right from the start. Rather than go into a long discussion of what was wrong, here's a short list: dirty water glass (something pretty gross looking on the inside of the glass) Messed up drink orders The prawns in the prawn cocktail were not fresh and tasted funny Messed up appetizer orders Bad service - everything felt really rushed, and the servers did not care about their own presentation or how drinks/food were brought to the table.I did something at Jason's that I have never done before, and left before we ordered our main dishes. We then went to another restaurant to continue our evening and our meal. There are some other really good restaurants in the area. Can't put Jason's in that same company.

Our first time and we loved it.Casual atmosphere but hip and fun inside.Noisy in a good way, very alive.Fun special drinks. The food was super creative and oh just so delicious. We had oysters and they were great. Then the burrata with persimmon amd chimmichuri. Amazing. I had the kicking chicken and it was mouth watering. My wife had the steak Frite and holy cow we have never had a piece of meat like that. Wonderful service and overall a great place to eat.

Marin county residents associate decades of fond memories with 234 Magnolia Avenue in Larkspur because for years it was the premier Marin eatery and brainchild of chef Bradley Ogden, who left San Francisco's tony Campton Place in 1989 where he was Chef de Cuisine, to open the Lark Creek Inn. There, under a towering redwood canopy and next to a quintessential babbling brook he delighted generations of Marin diners with his distinctive and exquisitely prepared American cuisine featuring signature dishes like his braised short ribs of beef, Bradley's Caesar salad and other seasonal favorites. In 1990 Gayot named the Lark Creek Inn as one of the top 40 restaurants in the United States. In 2009 Ogden closed the revered Marin eatery to pursue stardom in other locations. Enter Perry Butler, who had a vision to bring the style of New York's East Side bar and grills to San Francisco in 1969 and had since launched successful locations on Union Street, SF Embarcadero, and now 234 Magnolia Avenue. Although not equal in culinary pedigree to his superstar predecessor, Perry's On Magnolia addresses an important niche in the North Bay dining scene with its bustling bar scene, informal and friendly service, and congenial menu. Happy hour wines by the glass paired with a shareable plate of delicious fried calamari are the perfect ending to a busy weekday at work and for hearty appetites the dinner menu has something for everyone. Two can dine for under $80 including cocktails and a shared dessert. The Lark Creek Inn was a hard act to follow but one day Perry's will be too.

We went to this quaint little restaurant for Valentine's Day. We had a late reservation, so the restaurant wasn't terribly busy but the service was terrible. Our waitress never once cracked a smile. She took away the soup while the soup spoon was still in my hand. Someone came over and wanted to clear our plates while we still had food on them and it was obvious we weren't done. These people need to get a clue as far as service goes. The Hostess on the other hand was lovely, warm and friendly. The food was quite good--we shared a little gem salad with heart shaped beets, which were pretty but scarce. The butternut squash soup was fantastic as well as the fish dish that we shared. Can't say that we will be going back anytime soon though.

Very good food. Busting place. Patio seating. Two Grey Goose martinis came to $44.00.Yup. Buyer beware on that one! Have been there several times. Wait staff service is mixed. Jidori chicken is delicious.Pizza wood fired. Cheese plate is a nice finisher. One night went early before a movie and without reservations. We were seated, ate and were out in plenty of time to make the movie just down the street. The server was attentive to our time and helped with selections with that in mind. Check the website menu prices before you go to make sure it fits your budget. BTW, the bar area is dark and cozy if you go for drinks. They a private dining area for small groups.

Clean, comfortable eatery serving quality food in a comfortable surrounding. Mexico-style "poke"beautifully prepared with delicate chips and iceberg, lettuce slices, $14.00. Spicy tuna sushi, fresh, tasty, $10.00. Sticky ribs, warm, juicy and slowly cooked, $14,00 for 5 ribs. The server, Ashanti, was intelligent, knowledgeable and quick to our requests. She represented herself and her employer with style, grace and a sense of humor. If you like seafood, add this place to your list.

Was visiting the town and dropped by for appetizers and check out their selection of regional brews. The place has fun atmosphere, foods were average, the staff were hospitable and the drinks were ok.
