We stopped in for lunch yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and came away fairly pleased. We had the tuna appetizer - it was really good (though a bit heavy-handed on the sesame oil). I had the mahi-mahi grilled and served over a red quinoa. The fish was perfectly cooked, but there was too much red onion mixed in with the quinoa. My companion had the grilled shrimp and declared them fantastic - and she really liked the yucca that accompanied. Overall it was a good meal experience but perhaps the chef could oversee the prep line a little closer. The restaurant is attached to the Puro Surf hotel.

I had seen this cute food truck on social media and we were lucky to find it on our way back from the beach.They make the best grilled cheese sandwiches you can find. I tried their 'Mechudo' sandwich with caramelized onions and it was so delicious. It is perfect for a quick and affordable meal. They use fresh and special ingredients that are presented very nicely. The hosts were super friendly, always smiling and making sure I was satisfied.The location is great; there are benches around where you can sit on and is also within a walking distance from the Tunco beach. The food truck stands out from the rest of the places in the area that are catered for foreign tourists and not creative AT ALL.Their marketing and social media presence is on point and I can see they're being very active not only at this location but also in other areas and events in the city. GO FIND THEM!I will go back again and again!

Weâd already had dinner, but the kids wanted to try pupusas. We got one each to split up of the cheese, cheese and bean, loroco, and ayote (a type of squash flower). Iâm not a big pupusa fan, but these were pretty good. Service was good and the place looked clean. Not sure if the prices are ânormalâ or if thereâs a âTunco taxâ as I donât normally eat pupusas, but at a $1 to $1.35 or so each depending on ingredients itâs still a cheap meal.

Sweet view of this epic right hand point break. The food was decent and the price was right. Service was good as well. However itâs all about the view of Punta Sunzal, try and sit at the upper lever deck.

This is a new place in el tunco, no more than two years, its a little pricy but its worth it...right in front of the beach, it has a restaurant and bar service, I specially recommend dinner time or go to the bar at the time of the sunset...nice view...Thank you so much for your review! Our bar and restaurant is one year old only and, we are so delighted for having hosted you in our business. We look forward to seeing you again.

It is a special place. The food is a mix of good taste: local ingredients + best-known dishes = bistro loroco.The restaurant is run by a very friendly couple, they always stop by to say hello and will be very open. The music is a playlist armed themselves. I loved it!The physically place is like a little nest under the shade of trees. Just sit back and relax. Although there are no sea view, it is not necessary, after a few minutes you'll join a place connected to the nature & delicious cuisine (win-win).It is a very artistic venue, usually support local artists of different varieties. Check their FB page.In comparison of other places on the block, you can go to loroco bistro for an intimate moment with your partner, a fun time with friends, or just to enjoy a good book.The menu is short, but I recommend the burgers (The choco burger, it has cocoa chunks) and the loroco tepenade with natural cassava chips. Delicious!

Delicious calamari and chips cooked perfectly and prawn tacos were sensational.. had this delicious sauce and actual proper coleslaw on them. So yummy!! Enjoyed the juices too. And to top it off - amazing service from the owner. Also, if you are hungover it's exactly what you are looking for.

Perfect little place food was absolutely awesome. Fresg tasty ingredients. Chocolate brownie is on point and i dont even like deserts!!! Honestly if you are in el tunco go here! Nothing better especially as the price is so good!
