My wife and I ordered duck salad and the signature ribs. Well my wife's food came and 17 minutes later my ribs arrived. The taste and marinating sauce was authentic but the cut was the cheapest cut money could buy. It was huge lump of fat and gristle. My wife ordered a further beef burger but sadly it was simply the poorest quality of meat used topped with 1/2 cooked very very fatty bacon. In fairness fries were excellent and staff and manager were very friendly. It is a shame that the atmosphere, decoration and friendly staff have been let down by poor quality and sub standard meat.

Just an unexpected drop in to this place while walking along Gaya Street in Kota Kinabalu. It was still early in the evening but we were already getting hungry for some dinner. Food that was ordered was good with a nice twist in the taste.Only thing was that the price of the items ordered was a little pricey.

Hard Rock Cafe is a global phenomenon with 185 cafes that are visited by nearly 80 million guests each year. The first Hard Rock Cafe opened on June 14, 1971, in London, England, and from there the brand has expanded to major cities and exotic locations a
Happened to be in the area and decided to pop in for a quick lunch with the 3 kids. The food was horrific. The waiter came and asked if me minded swapping one type of cheese for another on our Nachos as they had ran out, we said sure. Should of been a warning sign. When they did turn up it was neither cheese on the Nachos, they had melted those vile thin 'cheese' supermarket squares over the top of the Nacho slop. I raised to the attention of the waier who then admitted he had misled us by accident. Normally I'd let a minor blip like that fly but the enitre meal just felt like pig swirl, and a hefty bill presented at the end for said pig swirl. I would give this place another year or three to find it's feet as it clearly has teething problems. I'm sure it will come good and deliver the HR standard level of service but maybe not in the very near term. The view is amazing so if it is drinks only you are going for, I'd go.Hi Alan,Thank you for sharing with us the review. The draw card is the spectacular sunset. However, it is pretty good from midday to late evening. It is usually cool because of breeze. Staff are really nice. Food is okay but you because of the rooftop.
