This Subway is tucked away on the Hwy in Keystone. Very cute Subway from the outside. Sandwich artists did not speak English and we had to watch the orders very closely and correct them a few times. Owner/Mgr did speak some English so she was correcting them as well. Good food fresh.

We stopped here on our way back from Mount Rushmore. Nice little place, with some tasty food.We had the smoked ribs, Red;s chicken sandwich, and the burnt ends. All were delicious. The potato salad was good and the cheesy, garlic fries were very tasty. Good friendly service as well.

Looking for a great place to eat or grab a drink? It's 'time to dine' at The Front Porch Restaurant and Bar! We serve a variety of favorites from prime rib and trout to the Mountain Man Burger. Our doors and our porch are open to serve you starting at 7am
We had lunch at the Front Porch and sat on the porch. The service was good, as was the food and reasonably priced. I would eat here again â as long as there are not lots of motorcycles (and their NOISE) on the roads surrounding the Front Porch -like when we ate there. Perhaps we should not have sat on the porch. So except for the noise (not the restaurantâs fault) - I would come back.

According to the menu card they serve "the best buffalo steak in the Black Hills." My husband ordered a medium steak, but it was overdone and stiff, so we had to wait for a new steak. In general there was a long waiting time even though there were only a few guests. Several of the dishes on the menu card were not available. Payment by cash only. I rate this place as "poor" instead of "terrible" because the waitress was friendly and tried to make up for the kitchen's flaws.

Visited last night to takeout order. Greeted by a friendly server who seemed to be waiting on the entire restaurant. He hustled!! Wide variety of pizza, pasta, chicken and sandwiches. They even had gizzards. Omg delicious!!!!! Fried crisp but yet tender meat. Pizza was perfectly done pepperoni and hamburger. Chicken tenders were HUGE!! Decently priced. Total surprise we struck gold on finding this place.

On a cold, rainy and windy day, one of our first stops at Mt. Rushmore was at the Carvers Cafe for some hot chocolate, coffee and tea! Feeling warm inside, we took some more photos and then made our way to the Sculptors Studio, a must see a short walk away.Almost miraculously, the sky cleared for some photos without rain!

I was so excited to see a Old West Style Saloon. The decor was really unique as well. My family and I dined here because it was walking distance from the Hotel. We had the Spinach Artichoke dip and wings for appetizers and both were AMAZING. I ordered the Ribs and they were fall off the bone delicious. My husband tried the Country Fried Steak and it was MASSIVE. I would recommend putting this restaurant on your stop and see list!We are glad you enjoyed yourselves during your visit! Thank you for the kind words. We appreciate it!

Can find it through google search.
Two adults had calzones here on a Thursday evening in mid-August. Not crowded at 630 when we got there but moderately crowded when we left. Sat inside. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Took about 20 minutes. Good food. Not exceptional. Wait staff nice. Cost about $28 with two iced teas and tip. Expensive for the meal but this is a tourist town, so it's expensive everywhere.

Food was very good, our table had the buffalo meatloaf, buffalo short ribs, and a burger. All the food was tasty. Our waiter was fantastic. He was friendly, fast and made good recommendations. Would recommend eating here. Even though we were here during the off-season and were eating fairly early the place was full by the time we left.

We came here one night for just a drink at the bar and one night for dinner. Both nights we had excellent service in a fun atmosphere. Drinks are reasonable and the dinner was excellent. Would suggest this to anyone traveling to Hill City.
