Yes, they have a broken chimney outside. They have a large dining/bar area inside. Expansive menu with food options for the entire family. Great BBQ, sandwiches, salads, and fries. Good for large family groups. It can get quite busy. Worth a visit while in the area.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of this little cafe in the park. Pulled pork, veggie sandwich with amazing garlic mayo, bison burger, and homemade veggie burger just to name a few. Great quality, good service and nice view of the lake.

In the mornings you can get fabulous cinnamon rolls. Lunch is tasty. The place has charm and it's clean.

The food and service were excellent. Some different items on menu, but all delicious. We dined there as a large group from Orion, IL. They were good for groups and prices moderate. The only concerns were we have several folks with walkers, canes. They had a difficult time maneuvering around and long walk from cars, step s, etc.

I asked if the hamburgers were hand made and the waitress said they were. I ordered one. When it came I would say it probably wasn't 2 ounces of meat. It was about 3 inches across and about 1/4 inch thick. It and fries was $8.50. My husband had the tenderloin (which was a good size and cost less) and he shared with me. It was delicious. I was very disappointed since it was the first time we had ate there.We are very sorry to see this review come through. We would like to get a little more detail upon your visit. We take all feedback into serious consideration to make sure you are always enjoying your visit! Thank you for the feedback.

We heard Cerno's was voted "best burger in Illinois". 100% agreed. The meat is a delicious blend of beef, and was seared just perfectly. The lunch special today was a cheeseburger and 1 side for $6.50. The amount of food we received was amazing! We will be returning!
