A stop on a bit of an afternoon search for happy hour. Very decent staff. A couple drinks for each of the 4 of us. They had some very decent wings drinks. One of the girls working there had a lot of insight to give us regarding the island. It seems like it could be hopping if it were the weekend. Decent sized menu and I think it was the Bud beer on special.

I donât normally write many reviews but felt this one was necessary. We stopped off to try this place for the very first time at 6:30 pm on 8/4/18, a party of 5. The very first thing that happened was we were yelled at by the manager for going to the service area to order. Now I donât expect to be treated like royalty but expect to be treated like a human being. Customers are the lifeblood of a business, but this manager should be running a hot dog stand in the downtown area.We left and I can say I will never go back again. When I patronize a business I expect courteous service, something I did not see here.

We ducked in for lunch on one of the little downtown's festival weekends. The area was mobbed with people, everyone looking for respite from the sweltering hot humid temps but our wait to get in was fairly short. The place was crazy busy (and very loud) and the bussing service was hit and miss (we had to wipe off the table and chairs a little more after they were wiped as we were being seated ) but the service otherwise was fast and courteous. My companions enjoyed the salmon blt, a perch wrap, a lobster roll, and I had the best deli style egg-salad sandwich on rye- so ample I couldn't even eat it all. Very generous portions of everything, all of it very tasty and well priced

Weâd eat there more but year after year the kitchen help always seem to be bothered to take an order. I see different people year after year in their kitchen and itâs like they are trained to be short and unfriendly. We left Saturday without ordering.

1st visit there on 4th of July. The waitress was very helpful and had a great personality which makes the dinner experience much better. The small plates with the guest chef were delicious and prepared perfectly and the atmosphere was good. Will definitely return and would recommend.

Come sit in our outdoor dining "room" and enjoy the view from Cedar Point all the way to the tip of Catawba and Mouse Island. Located in Portside Marina, we offer fresh fish, Homemade Crab Cakes, the best Lobster Bisque on Lake Erie and we can not forget
We were there for supper on a very warm and sunny day. The location by the lake was perfect. The crab cakes were very good (although served cold). The lobster bisque that everyone rants and raves about..........WHY? I found it to be very bland, definitely not tasting of lobster, lukewarm, and served with a slice of soggy bread on top. Our server was deplorable. She didn't crack a smile. In fact she had a pouty look on her face the entire time. We think this could be why our food was served lukewarm and not hot.......just plain poor service. We did see another waitress on duty who was upbeat and efficient.

We came for the afternoon, rented a golf cart and just drove all over. We passed this place, turned around and came back. They have a nice assortment of cheese plates. We got the very good imported plate (warm Brie, Havarti, and goat cheese), plus a small loaf of bread, 2 apples, and mustard ($22),plus 2 glasses of their white wines. The outside porch was really relaxing and our waitress was nice. If we can get back next year, this place will be at the top of our list!

Hubby & I visited the Village Pump for lunch while on Kelleyâs Island. The food was very good, and had really large portions. Much more food than we expected! We even saw some others taking pics with their heaping plates, and laughing at the size. Hubby got the taco salad, which was a huge bowl filled with chips, meat & salad. I got the chicken quesadilla and it was not at all skimpy, a very large one. They seemed to be a short staffed and trying to work the back bar area as well as take orders and serve food. Our waitress, although pleasant, seemed to have no choice but to be in a really big hurry. They needed more help. But even with that said, we enjoyed our food there and would go back there again.
