We had 7 people for dinner.... we called one hour ahead to reserve a table.... when we got there the manager told us we would have to wait 45 minutes anyway. Not a great way to treat loyal customers. The food was good and the service was good after we finally got seated.

I have not been a fan of Outback restaurants after several very tough and grisly pieces of meat in the past. (Other locations). We were traveling thru Joplin and decided to take a chance at an early dinner. Pleasantly surprised. My wife had the grilled prime rib. I had the ribs and sirloin. Good service and good food. We would recommend and will return when we travel thru here again.

We were passing through Joplin and decided to try Crabby's. We were not disappointed.Initially, we thought we might have made a mistake as it looks like "just a bar" when we first walked in but decided since we were hungry to give it a try. Now came our first surprise. The seafood was amazing. We ordered calamari for an appetizer, it was not chewy and some of the best calamari we have ever had. My husband had fish & chips, I had salmon. We both enjoyed the large portions. When it came time for the check, we got our second surprise. We were expecting to pay about what a trip to Red Lobster costs but even with the appetizer, our total bill was less than $40.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here last weekend. We ordered onion rings, traditional wings with a dry seasoning and a sauce & seasoned fries. The portion size of the onion rings & fries was huge and we loved the spicy ranch dipping sauce they came with. The wings were wonderful! So wonderful we talked about our dinner for the rest of the night and I recommended Hackett's to all my co-workers the next day! Our waiter was great and it's a very clean and friendly environment. For all the food we got, including 2 beers, the price was acceptable. We left with our bellies FULL and a smile on our face so you can guarantee we will come back again.

Wilder's Steakhouse is part of Joplin's past and future. As the third owners of the restaurant we find our selves stewards of a historical piece of the Joplin landscape. Originally opened in 1929 by Mr. Verne Wilder it grew to encompass the 1200 block of
We stopped here one night to see how the new Wilder's looked and it was FAR different than before. The price point is higher, but the food is well worth it. Everything we ordered was fantastic - especially the creamed corn (which I usually hate!). We will be making this our new special occasion restaraunt in Joplin.

Smoked barbecue, brisket, pulled pork and ribs being most popular. They also have a large variety of homemade pies that are served as huge slices. very rustic decor and friendly service.
We had lunch here while visiting relatives. The restaurant had a industrial style decor with photos of local events and places. It was pretty busy but not overly noisy. Our server was outstanding, very friendly and efficient. The food was generally good, especially some of the sides, potato salad, fries, and beans. I had the barbecued brisket, which was good but not the best. I think some of the other barbecue selections may have been better. Overall, it was a good place to sample the local barbecue.

So many different and unique items to choose from on the menus. I absolutely love the peanut butter burger. Another favorite of mine is the heavenly burger. The buns on this burger are literally donuts. They also have a huge selection of local and import beers.Thank you so much for your review!

It doesn't look like much from the outside. And the inside looks like an older drive in. But the food is not standard drive in food. The fried mushrooms appetizer-the best I've had. My wife had the salmon sandwich on sourdough bread with bacon, and grilled asparagus. I had the bison burger and fries. This place was a great find. Great service-the waitress was very helpful deciding what to order. Not the cheapest place in the world. Around $40 for the two of us, not including the tip. But worth every penny. Glad we found this on TripAdvisor.
