Fritz mitte is a local favourite for their fries and imaginative flavoured mayos. They opened the sit down restaurant a while ago... and I'm glad. The burgers are great! The service is fantastic!

We found this lovely little place in Jena while dropping our son off to start Uni, the whole experience was fab, the chef came out to check our order, when the food came it looked great and the taste was to die for! melt in the mouth pulled beef. The chef even brought me out some more, he asked us about our visit and we ended our night sharing a local drink with him, what a great restaurant, you MUST pay this place a visit, definitely would go back,

If you are craving some good American style food, such as fries, burgers and steaks, I can highly recommend this place. Decorated in lots of US memorabilia, such as sports photos, collectibles and always live viewings on the screens, you will feel as if in a proper American sports bar. Even if you are not into sports (like me), you can enjoy the cheerful atmosphere and the hearty food. I always love the fries, which are perfectly spiced with just enough salt and paprika, as well as the oven potato with cheese on top. Special Tip: try the new pulled pork burger.
