We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
We wanted a quick mid day breakfast before starting a trip back to Atlanta. Huddle House seemed to offer a good alternative and was adjacent to the main road and a turn off we needed to make. Parking is adequate however access to the busy main road is a bit challenging. Once inside we were hit by the smell of smoke and could not find a booth where we could avoid it. Only one group was smoking but they were using some sort of vaping device and cigarettes and the aroma mixed with greasy smells from dishes and the grill was unacceptable. Our orders of scrambled and fried eggs were properly prepared and the grits while soupy were good. The wheat toast was drowning in butter but it could be scraped off. On balance this was average in every respect.

The chicken is tasty, no matter whether you get strips or the sandwich. It is an on-campus franchise located inside the TMB or Theron Montgomery Building which is off the front (E) parking lot so unless you get there early expect to wait. There are a few tables but mostly for carry-out.
Tried the $4.99 fish special and it was great. You get to choose your side items instead of someone choosing them for you. I had the green beans and cole slaw. The food was excellent and the dining area was very clean. Will be eating here again in the future.
As I walked into the door I was blown away by the warm, friendly group that greeted me! The restaurant is very clean and the food is delicious! Don't forget to try the box lunch combo

I ate here many times through my college years at JSU. We came through and through we'd celebrate 10 years post-grad and it is still just as good! It will always be a personal favorite.

We have eaten at Cecilâs for years before we moved here we always made it a point to eat a burger & tater tots there whenever we were in town . We love the food, milkshakes & ice cream . The employees are very nice & they know what there doing. Most of the employees have worked there for years they have become like family to us . If youâre in Jacksonville you just canât leave without stopping by Cecilâs Place . Who knows you may just come to love it as much as we do .

I sat at the bar and ordered ribs and Cooterâs juice for dinner. The atmosphere was great, people were friendly, and the service was excellent. The ribs were the best ribs Iâve eaten. I ordered them with the dry rub and barbecue and white sauce on the side. The Cooters juice was pretty weak....with little to no alcohol but was tasty. This was my favorite restaurant in Anniston.
