On an overnight stay in Jackson we found this local Catfish house. Food was very good and the service was friendly. Its always fun to find a place that locals are enjoying.

From the moment you walk in you are welcomed and made to feel at home! An excellent selections of wine including offerings from their own vineyards. The meals were excellent. Salmon, lamb chops & check cooked to perfection. The risotto was killer! Creamy deliciousness. Server was wonderful & knowledgeable of the menu. Glad to see a higher end restaurant in Jackson!

Just a little birthday lunch with our niece. With one rare exception, this place is always a pleasure. DH loves the strawberry salad and Flo's filet. I had the seafood chowder, which was pretty good. I also had a Flo's filet, which was cooked beautifully mid-rare. I ordered the new baked cauliflower, which was over-baked and dry. The asparagus were perfect. Our Server Amber, could not have been better. We love the Gold Rush Apple dessert, and our niece was gifted a lovely birthday sundae. This has sort of become "our place" because it is easy and good. There are lots of things to try. I will say that the Hostess seems somewhat unfriendly and never returns a smile. Don't let that make you sad. The Servers are personable and welcoming, and you will have a nice time.

A hearty blend of Beale Street and Bourbon Street, Redboneâs Grill and Bar is anything but ordinary. Bringing together Cajun classics, American favorites, and fresh seafood offerings, our menu offers a world of flavors at your fingertips and a kick around
Hubby & I went to Redboneâs after it was recommended by our motel. Our appetizer was Oysters Rockefeller & they were absolutely exquisite! They were stuffed with spinach, cheese & bacon. Squeezed a lil lemon juice over it & oh my! Hubby had Bourbon Street Pork Steak which he rated as moist, tender & delicious. I had the 6 oz Sirloin steak cooked perfectly to order topped with Gorgonzola & sautéed mushrooms, juicy, moist and thick. Would definitely eat there again if weâre ever back in the area!

Lately, I have had nothing but heartache from people in the service industry. Sears has left us with lies and a broken $2700 refrigerator for going on three weeks---it's under warranty folks, fifth repair in two years. It is under this dark cloud that I entered Catfish Galley. Well, that lasted about two seconds. We were warmly greeted by every server in the place. Smiles everywhere! All for me and my cheerful yellow dress! After weeks of bad relationships, here was the remedy I needed---the milk of human kindness! I was on cloud 9 before I was even seated. I have noticed here that others seem to love or hate this warm greeting, but maybe their refrigerators at home work.We noticed they seem to have new carpet since our last visit two years ago, and the whole place was neat and clean. Unfortunately, there is a darkness to the dining room which can make it seem old, but don't mistake it for being grungy. That's what kept us away, and that's just sad.The food here is good! The service is great! I love the catfish, clams, and Cajun shrimp. The absolute best thing I got was the fried green tomatoes. Tangy and crisp and perfect. The onion rings don't suck at all, and the hush puppies are sweet and crunchy.Every server made sure we had drink refills, hush puppies, and wanted for nothing. It seemed to be everybody's job to treat us like royalty. Why just Catfish Galley? It isn't the poshest, but they out shine the $150 a plate places by far. Many other servers seem so angry from start to finish, why does Catfish Galley have such high standards? This warmth was shared with every person in the room. This is why I was able to laugh off the lifeless cashier! I went up to personally compliment the workers and food, and she couldn't have cared less! So I wonder who among the people I met there didn't get the memo? I hoped I could cheer her up with my enthusiasm, but it was a gift she didn't care to open. Now I am worried for her and hope she is OK while I wait to see if Sears shows up on June 4.

Ate at Jackson Cheddars on a Monday night after 9pm and there was a waitlist for seating due to many graduation celebrations. Staff was doing their best, but they seemed overwhelmed with the number of guests, tables and bar area were overrun with dishes & glasses from previous guests. Food was average, but hot. Service at the bar was quick & friendly.

Looked this restaurant up using TripAdvisor. Got great reviews. We were here on Karaoke Thursday. Was fun watching people making fools out of themselves. Beats watching TV! I had half rack of ribs, coleslaw, and baked beans. My wife had pulled pork nachos. Both were awsome. One of the best bbq meals I ever had! The ribs are smoked but still "fall off the bone" tender. It was hard to rate the ribs higher than their delicious baked beans! So glad we chose this restaurant! I have just enough left over to have a rib and beans breakfast! My wife could have easily made 2 meals out of those nachos. But she got the meat down and left quite a few chips. They have beer and mixed drinks as well. I would highly recommend eating here. We would give it 5 stars except for the lack of real silverware and plates. This is sit down quality meals, but takeout kind of utensils. Get there early as they smoke the meat early in the day, and once they run out, that's it!

First time visit - went there for dinner - I just didn't feel there was enough variety for someone who was looking for 'regular' food - normally a buffet will have items on there for those who do not want regional food - the salads didn't look appetizing and finally we found a spoonful of a cpl of salads and some biscuits. The beverages were large and the refills were free so that helped. I also didn't like the fact that a gratuity was charged to the bill BEFORE the meal.....when you don't see your server but once for refills and there was a stack of plates on the table...I wouldn't have left that big of a tip. We paid $43 for what amounted to be a plate of food.......definitely would look for a different dinner location. Might come back to try the breakfast buffet and give that a chance as I have heard good things about it.

RESTAURANT -Dumplins Bistro & Bakery has been a Jackson favorite since 1990 - people from all over West Tennessee have come to love our homemade rolls, fresh salads, hot casseroles, and the best desserts to be found. From family dinners and business lunch
I heard this was an old restaurant so wasnât anticipating a clean, well decorated, flavorful food restaurant with the friendliest staff! The server took our order on an electronic pad. We ordered the quiche and turkey Reuben sandwich with potato salad. Then the homemade rolls with strawberry butter came out and I was in my happy place. The quiche could have benefitted with a few veggies and the Reuben had thick turkey, not shaved which I actually liked but needed more sauerkraut. All in all you need to get to this restaurant. Next time weâll try the great looking cake desserts!

This place is conveniently located in downtown Jackson area. Its location is next to an organic health grocery store called Grubbs, a popular workout place called the Lift, Polished nail salon, and the farmers market. I like that if I eat here I have several other places I can go to. Now to the food- the menu offered several options if youâre not wanting pizza. Such as pasta, calzones, appetizers, desserts, sandwiches. I opted for a 12 inch pineapple pizza- that was $17. I thought that was a little pricey- it was good though. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Casual, TVs, families eating. If youâre in the area you should check it out!
