With the positive reviews of other readers we ventured to TJ's this week and were very pleased with the clean cafe and friendly service. We ordered the Hawaiian burger special and chips - only to be very disappointed in the burgers. The buns were burnt and the filling only average. I specifically asked if it was spicy and told no but the relish contained pepper and chili. No way were they better than Burger Fuel- plenty to eat and the fries were good, not oily.
Drive thru may be a bit much for subway, it takes a while to order your sub, (we needed three) and get it made, potentially leading to some long lines. As your not watching the staff make the sub you can not correct any mistakes. We ordered 3 subs including a teriyaki chicken and chicken bacon ranch. We received our bag but it only had two subs so I had to walk back to the window to get the third. When we ate them they were fresh and full but not correct. The chicken bacon ranch had no bacon and the teriyaki chicken was just chicken and had way too much sweet chillie sauce. Oh well, we went to the other subway next time and got the correct order.
