We have been there four times. It is crowded, even after Labor Day. It is a popular local destination. Well-cooked food and good soups. An efficient and friendly staff.

We made a reservation for a party of 7, not a ton of tables inside but there's an outdoor deck too but if it's raining, like it was the night we were there you'll need a res. Service was good. I thought the food was pretty decent, pulled pork was good, their homemade sauce were good, chicken wings were great, but the ribs fell short. I expect ribs to be tender and to fall off the bone, these were possibly overcooked? It was hard to tear the ribs apart or even cut with the butter knife they provided. Decent drink list too. I'd go back but skip the ribs next time.

Dinner at Duffy's at the Glenmore was great. The pub feel is comfortable. The hamburgers were really good and the sherried mushrooms were really tasty. Try the Blue Balls for an appetizer but be sure you leave room for dessert. The homemade desserts were awesome, especially the forest berry pie. Duffy's is a new and much better version of the Glenmore and is a great addition to the Big Moose Lake restaurant scene. We will definitely be back VERY soon.

It's an old favorite. Donât be fooled by the âfor saleâ status. The broiled haddock is generous and nicely cooked. We had a part of nine and the rest enjoyed the friend entrees. This is a bigbrestsursnt, so you can usually get a seat during the Friday Fish Fry tradition that is alive and well in the Adirondacks.

Went for breakfast, very friendly staff, great atmosphere. Great coffee. Has a basic breakfast menu, food came out a little slow but we are on vacation and no place to be than right here, right now so no worries. The food was delicious and worth the wait and enjoyed my conversation with my daughters.

The Seventh Lake House folks were easily able to accommodate our group for dinner at a large table overlooking the lake. Service was quick and friendly. And everyone seemed to enjoy their entrees. My dinner included homemade meatloaf wrapped in pastry, along with veggies, mashed potatoes, salad and Saranac IPA. Unfortunately we passed on having any of the enticing-sounding dessert treats.

Came for breakfast. Was refused eggs unless on the grille (they can't or won't boil water?) So ordered pancakes. They were fine, but delivered with a meager amount of syrup. The floorboards are rickety and the bar shakes when employees walk by. VERY long wait for food (unfairness, they were busy). The FINAL INSULT was 9.95 for two pancakes. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

The Red Dog is a very convivial place, with friendly staff, good beer and a super casual atmosphere. That being said, their dining room is small and they don't take reservations. So there is often a long wait for a table. My salad, fries, veggies and Long Island ice tea were fine. But my medium rare sirloin steak (which was advertised as that day's special) was much too dry. Too bad, since the rest of the experience was quite pleasant.Hello DoeHead,We appreciate your feedback! I will look into how to make our steaks more juicy. Maybe the steaks need a rub. On the wait time, we try our best to serve tables as quickly as possible without going overboard on speed. We want people to enjoy their stay at our tavern and not feel rushed. It's a balancing act. Please come again and please continue sharing your experience with us.

We stopped in for dinner after driving through Old Forge, Eagle Bay and Inlet looking for a vegetarian and family friendly dinner and many restaurants were closed on Mondays or for dinner. The staff are so friendly, our veggie pizza delicious, Stone IPA perfect and we loved the salad bar. We had dinner outside on the deck and really enjoyed the meal. It was crowded but very pleasant vibe.
