The town is a beach-front community situated on a barrier island west of Seminole. The population was 1,420 at the 2010 census. The town has recently undergone multiple construction and renovation projects, including utility undergrounding, road re-surfacing, and the placement of pedestrian safety measures. The town staff recently moved into a new municipal center which replaces the decades-old, antiquated facility. The new building houses all Town Departments, and a Council Chambers for official meetings. The fourth floor of the building has a large banquet hall, with waterfront balcony views on both sides.

Our group ordered eggs Benedict, quiche, Swedish pancakes and coconut cake. Everything was delicious!! The food was fabulous and the other highlight was all of the witty and cute signs everywhere. We enjoyed reading the signs in the trees, fence, boats and other areas. What a treat! We ate lunch here with friends and we all had the daily special of fish and chips, which is great value at $7. We all enjoyed it and cleared our plates. We also made the most of the happy hour drinks, especially the ladies who had Margaritas. Our server, Nicki, was very pleasant and nothing was a problem for her. Weâll definitely be back to try another special, probably the grouper cheeks which other friends have highly recommended.Beedubya, thank you so much for the great review! We had not intended to look for pizza while being on the gulf but at the recommendation of some friends gave it a try. The 'salad and a slice' for lunch was a perfect balance of a generous salad plus approx. 1/4 of a medium pizza. Price was $6.95 so a very good deal.

First, Karen is the Best ! what a wonderful waitress she is, we felt like we had known her our whole lives. Recommended by Yelp. We love the area. My husband ordered the blackened Shrimp Tacos with Slaw & sautéed spinach sides. He loved it allI ordered the Crab Cake & a cup of Grouper Chowder- oh Wow! Crab Cake was truly filled with Lump crab, more crab than filler- Yeah! The the Grouper Chowder was pretty amazing, I think I have a new favorite chowder. Thanks for the #fivebubblereview Karen. Great food, relaxing casual atmosphere and gigantic frozen Margaritas - what's not to love? Our server, Amanda K., took great care of us, instantly took our drink orders and brought us a large pitcher of ice water which was greatly appreciated after a day on the beach in the hot Florida sun. Frozen Margaritas followed very shortly and were absolutely delicious. We both had the Chicken Club sandwich and everything was very tasty, cooked perfectly. No room for dessert for either of us as the meals were huge. The Seabreeze overlooks the Intercoastal waterway, great location especially if you want to sit outside on the patio. We'll definitely return. Keep an eye out for George, the resident seabird - he's a regular.Thank you for joining us, Shaun! Love the new ownership , new menu, but sadly they removed the cheese spinach dip from the appetizers.Like that their is a live band nightly.Love their fish fry, but, BIG BUT, why serve it in a basket with a paper under the fish, you cut a piece of fish and you also get the paper with it. Please stop this , its a pain in the butt to be picking paper off your fork.Thank you so much for the excellent feedback! We can definitely make sure the fish comes on a plate for you next time you're in, just let your server know ahead of time. We appreciate you!

Very good new york style pizza. They do deliver but we were less than a mile away so i just went and picked up. For an XL pepperoni it was $16 after tax. Not bad for area. It fed the 5 of us.

We have always loved our dining experience at The Salt Rock Grill. So it was a shock when things did not live up to expectations in 2018. My review reflected my worries about standards dropping. I was asked to contact the owner who was very gracious and keen to address my concerns. He asked that we try again to see that my disappointment was a one off.We went again in September and had a wonderful meal. The food, ambience and service was first class and just as it ever was. I was welcomed by the manager who was friendly and warm and our server was an experienced man who made sure that everything was perfect.I always believed that Salt Rock Grill was wonderful value for money and a superb quality dining experience. I am delighted to say that everything we believed before the experiences of last year have now been restored.This is an utterly superb place to enjoy wonderfully cooked food, superb wines and cocktails. Thank you Frank.Thank you giving us the opportunity to serve you again! We appreciate the 5 star rating and review and look forward to having you back soon!
