A fine dining experience in Melbourne Beach. Djon's offers classic fine dining plus a wonderful, fun piano bar with live music every night. Djon's Steak and Lobster House offers a sumptuous menu with Certified Angus Beef steaks, lamb chops, veal chops and
As you enter this charming restaurant under its lovely canopy, through red double doors, you know that you will experience something special. A riot of colorful shades of red and plenty of wood surround the small reception area greet you. Large, lively French-themed art works vie for your attention. Subdued lighting calms the bright colors and art work. An attractive bar just inside the entrance entices you for cocktails. Or, sit by the fireplace and enjoy a cocktail while you listen to the live piano music performed nightly. Even dine alfresco when the weather is pleasant. Your choices are many.I made a reservation online during off-season for a Sunday evening requesting seating for two by a window at 6 PM in the main dining room. We arrived early and easily found parking in their private lot. The restaurant was not busy. We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. Menus were handed to us as we sat down. James, our server, took our wine orders and returned with a basket of warm bread, which is shipped daily from New Jersey. He described the Chefâs Special and his own recommendation, which both sounded temping, but we were enticed to dine here for their Flavor! on the Space Coast Menu. It offered a $40 4-course price fixe dinner during the month of October. We ordered two different appetizers so that we could share; both were equally good. The six Escargots had a white wine, garlic, pesto cream sauce that was delicious. We sopped up the extra sauce with the bread; it was that good. The Calamari was a very generous portion, flash fried and served with a small pot of marinara sauce â we wished for a bit more sauce, though. We both ordered the House Salad; fresh dark greens were topped with cranberries, walnuts, tomatoes and blue cheese. It was chilled and very refreshing. We had a choice of five entrees on the Flavor! menu, but we both chose the 8-ounce USDA Filet Mignon served in a demi-glace over tender roasted fingerling potatoes. It was prepared rare to our specifications and was tender and very filling. Other choices on the Flavor! menu were Seared Salmon, Roasted Chicken, Tortellini Quattro Formaggi and Vegetarian. For dessert we ordered NY-Style Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie. My dessert came with a lit candle to celebrate my birthday. If you dine before 6:30 be sure to request the Early Dining Menu. Service throughout the meal was attentive; water glasses refilled, bread basket refreshed, even napkins refolded when we left the table. James was quite personable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I canât say enough about the beauty of the dining room. Tables are dressed in white linens with soft leather chairs. Large glass doors face the small side & back patios, white curtains dress the other two walls with long strands of small white lights. In the center is a striking chandelier over a large gleaming oval wood table with curtains draped around it. It is such a romantic setting. Lighting is subdued and it is a much quieter feeling than at the front area. If you want an upscale dining experience, with fine food, excellent service and a beautiful ambiance, you cannot top this restaurant. I have eaten here several times and am still impressed. Come early for a drink at the bar and stay late to listen to the piano music. As we departed, the sun was setting over the river, so we walked over to enjoy the view. It was the perfect ending for a perfect early birthday celebration.

This is right next door to Doubletree, Crown Plaza and Hilton. People staying in those hotels definitely need to know about Lou's Blues!
Looked like an interesting place so I stopped in two nights back to back. There was a band playing not only Blues but other bluesy type songs from the Stones and others. It was open mike night and some very talented musicians sat in. The stage is almost on the second level and it best viewed from thst level which sports it own bar too. I had a Vegan burger which was piled high with toppings. Very interesting decor all over the place too

We visited the Sunnyside Cafe for an early lunch today. The hamburgers were fantastic, especially for the price. The fresh fruit cup was a little costly for the small cup it was served in. The servers were nice. The restaurant is very popular and therefore a bit noisy. There were some outside tables, but it was too hot to sit outside. I would go back.

The blueberry muffins at the Blueberry Muffin Restaurant are excellent. The blueberry pie is pretty awesome, too! The sandwiches are also praise worthy. My husband had the tuna sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Mediterranean Chicken Pita and found it to be fresh and flavorful. I look forward to a return visit to sample the breakfast offerings.

Ate there for 2nd time last night. Must first say blue point oysters, gumbo, and clam chowder are excellent. Service had some bumps, they changed servers mid meal when one left and handoff was not good. Got tray of oysters and nothing to eat with, had to ask twice. Ordered boneless wings which are basically chicken tenders everywhere else. Got what i would call popcorn chicken with raw carrot slices on side .... gristle and hard chicken tiny bites..not edible. Drinks great. They seem to do better with quality food but struggle with bar basics like chicken and salmon. Will retutn but just for oysters and drinks. 2 drinks bad chicken salmon oysters 84 bucks.

Went with friends to The Jungle Organic around 1pm on a Saturday. There were only two other parties there. We were seated right away and our drink orders taken (we ordered water). Then they brought us four tiny tastes of soups, which was odd, but the soup was good. We each only got to taste one because of the way they are provided. Anyway, we ordered our meals, simple chicken burgers and one salad, but it took nearly 45 minutes to bring out the food. When we looked for a server to ask about timing, none could be found. When we were finally able to ask, we were told, "soon." With a nearly empty restaurant and at lunch time on a weekend, I would definitely expect faster service. We didn't order anything complex. When the food finally did arrive it was very tasty. Although the salad I ordered said "mixed greens" on the menu, it arrived with iceberg lettuce and some romaine. I guess by definition that could be considered mixed greens, but to most people it means mescalin greens, or greens with some tiny bit of nutritional value. So four stars for the food, but two stars for the service and prices, so we end up with an average rating of three.

Tried for first time after just moving to Palm Bay / Melbourne area. My wife had shrimp and I had the Grouper Onion Crusted. Both were fresh and very well cooked. Great sauces on the side for both dishes. Mashed potatoes were exceptional. Great Pineapple Cider Beer too that was locally brewed. Quality service and wait staff as well. Highly recommended, will be back to try some more fish dishes for sure!

Long Doggers Indialantic was opened July 1997 by Al Steiginga and LJ Burr and was the first ever Long Doggers.
I consider myself a regular at this casual beach like establishment because the food is so consistent. The seasonal fresh fish is always grilled perfectly, and the Caribbean-esque bowls are always satisfying. Love the plantains! Good selection of local craft beers and a staff who is always friendly and work together as a team. For casual dining you canât go wrong. Just a laid back atmosphere with quality food. Wear your Long Dogger T-shirt on Tuesday for a discount! And, oh, yeah, if in doubt try the hot dog platter. This is Long Doggers after all.

Thought we would try this cafe for breakfast. Service is great, people are super friendly and breakfast was wonderful. We got our order quickly and it was still very warm. Iâll be going here again!

This place has a nice variety in their drink menu and the food menu was a nice surprise. We stopped in for a drink & appetizer before going to dinner down the street. The oxtail poutine was absolutely delicious and the deviled eggs had a nice kick to them. We will be back soon!
