The Square Cafe offers some of the most reliably good food in the area. The service is always good, the food equally so and itâs priced accordingly. Not overly so. I donât like their attempt to make good dishes like sole, scallops, or certain beef cuts so âinnovative.â Really great pan seared scallops donât need to go tropical, but they are more than willing to serve food the traditional way if thatâs your preference.

Arrived on a Saturday morn about 10 am - place was active but not full ( there were empty tables) and were seated right away. Ordered up coffees and then ordered a breakfast sandwich and a breakfast burrito. By 10:40 the place was 1/2 empty and I noticed people that arrived after us were already being served their food...so we asked for an eta....we were told 10 mins.Asked why people that were seated after us were already eating - the manger/owner rudely said something about not being able to control when orders come out of the kitchen.Well, we left without eating, we will never go there again....

Outdoor chic summer shack with an amazing view of the ocean, live music and serving 12 years of quality fresh beach food. check us out
Dropped in for a late lunch with four adults and two children. Childrenâs menu on the table. Weather turned from mid-80âs to sixties. Wind picked up. Kids were still wet from the beach. The staff brought out blankets for the kids which made the whole experience so much better. Mahi dinner plate was great and the hot sauces were supper compliments. I had a couple of local suds Lord Hobo Boom Sauce was a super good IPA. Everyone was very pleased all around. Thanks HK Too.

A neighborhood modern American eatery and bar, located where Hingham, Hull and Cohasset meet. Serving farm fresh, innovative takes on all your favorites- from flatbreads and salads, to street tacos and burgers, to steak and local fish. Come in for dollar
Been here 3 times, atmosphere is nice but a limited exlectic type menu and pricey for small portions. You need to check the menu before you arrive and ensure one of the limited entree,s will satify your palette. Also be prepared to figure out how to get the salt out of a âdishâ onto you food???? No spoon so i stuck my fingers in for a pinch! Jez, just put it in a shaker will you?

Treat yourself to a beautiful sunset dinner at Local 02045. Set right at a local marina Local 02045 provides a beautiful setting especially during the summer. It is even accessible by boat. How fun is that? My brother surprised us and offered to take us on his boat from Hingham to the marina. The weather was great and even though the tide was low the waves were not choppy. We went on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend. The weather was beautiful. The sunset was glorious. And yes, it was crowded. There were four of us and they said it would be at least 45 minutes to get a table. After waiting for about twenty minutes 4 adjacent spots became available at the bar, so we took those and had dinner there. It was great! Very nice time. Strongly recommend. I think these new owners have the right "recipe" for Local 02045 to be around for a vcery long time. We will definitely be coming back, except probably not by boat the next time (unless my brother offers again!).Thank you so much! Your feedback is more than appreciated. Hope to see you again next season!

I've been coming to Daddy's Beach Club for eight years now and always enjoy it. The atmosphere is fun, the energy is upbeat and their pizzas are delicious AND a bargain!! Jeff is the owner and does all he can to make sure the experience of Daddy's customers is a positive one. As Arnold says, "I'll be back"

Came for breakfast before walking the beach on a nice September day. We stayed at the adjacent Nantasket Beach Resort so this place was a no-brainer, and ordered the eggs, pancakes, and home fries across the board. Very good, and a perfect breakfast. About $10-11/plate.

We dine with friends this past weekend and the event started off poorly. We arrived 10 min before our reservation and was seated at a table that was right in the traffic flow of the waitstaff. We had to asked to be moved even with other open tables around. The meals were good and the staff was attentive, however, the prices very very high. I had the beef medallions which were rather tough and chewy. The pasta dishes, while good where expensive. Not in any rush to return anytime soon.

Spent a day at the beach, and was looking for a place to eat lunch. From the outside I wasn't sure what to expect, but when we came in we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was phenomal, the clam chowder was out of this world. Lots of seafood to choose from, and everyone in our party of 7 was happy with their order.Next time i am at the beach, i will def stop in here again!

Jake's has been serving award winning fresh seafood for over 50 years! We are a seasonal (open April-November) restaurant located in beautiful Nantasket Beach directly on the water! We feature a full service seafood market for those wanting to take fresh
I actually ate twice at Jake's. The first was take-out seafood bisque, which was bland and disappointing. The second was a sit-down dinner (for 2) that included both grilled swordfish and lobster. Both dishes were outstanding. Our server was equally outstanding. She could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Prices were reasonable. The wine list was short but we found a very pleasant white to go with our food. A totally satisfactory experience. Would go back; would recommend.
