This KFC is just as good as every other one around. Everyone loves that finger lickin' good chicken. They have the original recipe and the extra crispy. Since I like homecooked chicken too, I prefer the extra crispy.

Hit the drive-thru on the way to work last week - Didn't notice the "Drive-Thru Open" banners roadside until had already turned in... had to negotiate outdoor-construction settup and goings-on and decided what-the-heck... ordered a 3-piece GRILLED meal and got to work with a "FRIED" 3-piece meal... HOW does one even TELL THE DIFFERENCE in h=the 2 honestly, lol... This location DESPERATELY NEEDED the dining room upgraded and honestly i eat here perhaps twice a year, but may try again because the chicken pieces WERE a tad bit LARGER and UN-BABY-CHICKEN-LIKE this time sooo...

Two things stand out about Church's Chicken. The wonderful taste, and the fact that it is greasy. I usually get chicken fingers, because they are very tender and crispy.

I ordered the two lobster rolls deal. This is only the second time I have had the lobster rolls, with the first time last year at a Captain D's in Huntsville, Al. Those first lobster rolls were absolutely delicious with buttery rolls and lettuce. The lobster rolls at this Captain D's this year were not nearly as good. I tried to put my finger on the differences. For one thing, the rolls lacked that toasted buttery taste I had experienced previously. I eventually realized that my sandwiches had no lettuce which these lobster sandwiches are supposed to have. Unfortunately, I didn't pinpoint why my sandwiches didn't taste quite right until after I had finished them and started to look at video reviews on them. I then took a closer look at their table photo of them, and they had plenty of lettuce in that photo of the lobster rolls. When I brought the issue up with the woman working behind the counter, she checked with the cook staff about the lack of lettuce and their response was the lettuce went bad and they threw it out. This restaurant has an obligation to their customers to prepare the food as it is supposed to be prepared and as advertised, and if they can't do that, they must inform their customers that they can't meet the order as planned. They failed in both areas. This restaurant offered me no compensation for not preparing the food correctly. There was a good bit of meat (hope it wasn't imitation lobster), but this could have been the better sandwich I had hungered for if they ran their restaurant with better preparation and integrity.

Really good cajun and southern food. Service is super-friendly, but a little slow. They are often out of multiple items, but just keep moving down your list. You'll find something that's good. They have won multiple awards at the local gumbo gala, so make sure to get at least a cup of gumbo - it's awesome. The bisque is really good, too.

Dont go though the drive though it will take you forever. Your best bet is to pull up to one of the parking spaces, you get waited on faster. It sonic, get a chily chesse dog and a butterfinger blast.

That's what's served here, canned veggies and frozen meats, lil' pricey too for what it is... Servers tend to be fairly stingy when they pour stuff OUT OF DA LADLE before putting in plate, y'know, when they "flick" it out like they're "rationing" something for later??? Lol...Serving line badly needs updating as well... This is the only game in Hueytown for Meat 'n Three tho' besides the sodium-laiden grocery stores around that might even charge 2 separate prices for "chicken A-N-D dressing", (eh, Food Giant?) lol...

Excellent bbq ribs and loaded baked potato. Once order was placed the food arrived within five minutes! Services was great and food was superb. Locals seem to love the food here. The place was jammed packed, wall to wall. Take out was busy. Passed by at 2:30 pm and it was still busy. That says a lot.

Go!! This restaurant has been around for years and the employees are super proud of their history. It is filled with all sorts of memorabilia, especially sports. It's a large restaurant. Service is friendly and excellent.
