Good fast breakfast stop. Got the special french toast sausage sandwich and coffee. Waitstaff is more interested in carrying on a conservation with others than serving your meal. Otherwise okay stop. Not near as good as Whataburger.

Rock House is in a gorgeous, historic home and is beautiful inside and out! It is sparkling clean and has a fun, pleasant vibe. Our barista was exceptional and the coffee wonderful. While I wasnât eating, my friend had a roasted chicken salad that looked fresh and delicious. Canât wait to return for lunch!

Only come here if you appreciate early breakfasts (they open at 5 AM) that include bottomless cups of coffee and fresh hot biscuits served in a local, small town, everyone-knows-everyone setting, with patchwork quilt window dressings, reasonable prices, and a handwritten daily lunch special tucked into the napkin holders. I am so glad I found this little slice of Southern Hospitality!

First time visit for my husband and I. We arrived for lunch, and was greeted and seated immediately. We ordered the Ribeye with two sides. Everything arrived in a timely matter. The Ribeye was one of the most flavorful and juicy Ribeyes we've ever had. Sides: Mac and Cheese was great, onion rings nice and crispy, mash potatoes were good. However, a bit too thick. I would preferred them to be a little creamier. Sourdough rolls with honey/cinnamon fresh butter were to die for. Draft beer nice and cold. Great prices. Waitress and staff were amazing. Can't wait to try more of their menu next time we are passing through!!!

We visited Hohenwald with our out-of-state guests and wanted to eat somewhere that had local character and good country cooking. -And we sure picked the right place! Hankâs has a great menu with lots of variety. This truly American family restaurant is clean, cute and quite affordable. We look forward to coming back!

First time eating here...first time in Hohenwald. I had read the reviews of many restaurants in town and picked Junkyard Dog to eat. Our waitress (Ciara) was very good, pleasant and helpful. The four of us all selected different menu choices, hard to do since everything sounded so good. The serving sizes are huge, the prices are very reasonable, and the food was delicious!! All agreed the food was great, the atmosphere was unique and the staff was very friendly. We will return and highly recommend Junkyard Dog to everyone! I rate this a 9.5 out of 10 on my scale, one of the highest ratings I've ever given.
