We were staying in Indy and took the train to Chicago for the day. Decided to eat here since our son and friend s said it was great. The pizza was out of this world best deep dish chicopozza I have ever had. The service was terrible we waited 20 minutes after we were seated for a waitress and she was not around much. The deep dish takes 45 minutes to make so keep that in mind. The lunch specials are faster. We ordered the lunch specials and one meat deep dish. One off our daughters friend asked for the lunch special but somehow she got a small pizza . We told the server why would you think a little girl would get that when all the other kids got the lunch special. So we spent 25 dollars for her to eat 3 pieces of pizza. Common sense was not our waitress strong point. Food was great hopefully you get a better waitress. We will go back.

Have been a member of their 'Valued Member' program for more than a decade. Used to work in Oak Brook so it was always a great place to take clients and even staff for special occasions. Not working in that area for quite a few years so we've been remiss in stopping in. We stopped in a couple of days ago and had a marvelous dinner! Service was very good and both of our meals were EXCELLENT! One vegetarian and one carnivore. Steak was prepared perfectly and the vegetarian dish was completely gone. So glad to see that after an extended absence by us, the service and the quality has remained consistently great!

Coming to this area a lot for work, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this gem! How I had not been here prior is strange as J Alexanderâs is right up my alley.Nice Mix menu, lovely ambiance/decor and fantastic service. We got the deviled eggs appetizer which was delicious! I got the fried chicken strips dinner and my friend got the ahi steak. I went crazy for the coleslaw... it was SO good as was the rest of my meal. We did their carrot cake which may me the best carrot cake I have ever tasted with a warm light icing. Iâll be back.

Back visiting relatives & stopped in for her discount birthday meal. We all had the filets & they did not disappoint. Tender & seasoned just right. The chef made us sauted spinach (not listed on the menu) & it was yummy. Although quite on the spendy side, the food is perfection. Splurged for an excellent bottle of wine & thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Our service was superb. Highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out.

This was our first visit to Ditkas. The level of service was impressive. My filet mignon was so tender and flavorful, it melted in my mouth. My husbandâs NY steak, was flavorful, but not as tender as it could have been. The house green salad was one of the best Iâve ever had. We will definitely be back!
