They have really gone downhill in the past few months. The food isnât good anymore they donât keep the buffet stocked and the service was horrible. I waited over 40 minutes for them to get the lunch buffet out and it took around 20 more minutes to get the ticket so I could pay and leave. This is inexcusable when the restaurant is empty. I sadly wonât be back.
Woke up hungry and craving a quick and tasty, breakfast place near you? From fluffy, hand-rolled Made From Scratch⢠Biscuits⢠to crispy bacon on our classic breakfast platter to breakfast favorites that you can't get anywhere elseâ¦Hardee's® serves food ju
If you must eat here against my advice, at least do so at breakfast. After 10am, avoid it like the plague. The food is often awful, dried-out garbage...and the service is almost laughably slow.It is usually a ghost town, and that's not a coincidence. Really, I don't know how Hardee's is surviving as a chain. The desperate taco attempts can't fix what ails it. Go elsewhere for your burger needs. This one's done.
A local Coffee Shop in downtown Hartselle. We have free wifi available to enjoy as well as a variety of drinks, homemade baked goods, lunch items, and our famous giant sausage balls!
As far as coffee shops go, Iâve been to far better but Iâve also been to far worse. My Americano was good. Iced white raspberry drink my wife got was good too. Scones were good although one wasnât cooked 100% in the middle. Staff was super friendly.
This was our first time eating at a Jack's Restaurant. My husband and I both had the fried chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce. They were great - nice and moist. The fries were just okay - needed just a little more time to cook so would not be soft.
Things are a little worse in Alabama however this Captain D's is an exception. The food is in large proportions and the staff are friendly and helpful. The interior is clean and very modern.

Went here on New Years day for a traditional southern meal. They had run out of black eye peas by early afternoon?? Got a pork chop which was overcooked and dry as shoe leather. The small cup of greens were good (tasted canned though). It took two glasses of water to get the dry pork chop choked down.On the bright side, our server, Teri (iirc) was super. CB breakfast is usually pretty good, it certainly is predictable wherever you travel, but their dinners seem to be a poor value. There are a lot better choices for a decent meal.

First hostess not all that friendly. Although the waitress was helpful. Got food quickly. The bad thing was a woman was on her phone talking to someone having health problems. Very very loudly. I asked waitress to say something. She disappears. Someone else said there was nothing they could do about it but she moved us to another table. We could still hear her. The waitress never came back to is wonder what happened to her? The food was okay but we will never be back. She said someone there knew her and she might be able to say something. I wonder if that's why they didn't say anything to her cuz they knew her.

This is such a cool place to eat! We had an attentive server and the food was very good. My mother and I split a salad plate - and there was enough for two. This was a sampler with chicken salad, potato salad, pimento cheese, pasta salad, fruit salad, half a boiled egg, crackers and a muffin. We asked for an extra muffin and another plate.

At Freight House, we're full of hospitality, hometown pride, and Southern cooking at its finest. Built by L&N railroad as a freight depot in 1915, our century-old building has character in every brick and beam. Today, we're a proud fixture of historic dow
We were visiting family in Hartselle and stopped for lunch. I have enjoyed meals at The Freight House many times with family and friends. Today I chose the pimento cheese sliders (3 Roasted Red Pepper & Sharp Cheddar with crispy bacon on yeast bread) and picked the house made chips as my side. All so yummy. I took one slider home to have for a light supper. My husband enjoyed the BBQ Pork Panini - hickory-smoked pulled-pork with provolone on Sourdough bread with sweet potato fries. The children with us enjoyed a hamburger and fries and a grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. My sister ordered the Chicken Salad Plate - served on bed of lettuce. We love The Freight House and will return. The menu has a wide variety of selections with good prices. It is our pleasure to be a place you can count on for all of your delicious days out, Jenny. We love hosting your family! Can't wait to have you back for more great memories together next time around. Best wishes,Sandra
