We drove from Panama City, Fl to meet family who drove over from New Orleans to dine at Hemingwayâs Grill. I enjoyed the variety of the buffet and my husband loved the fried oyster platter. The other family members really liked the huge burger and The Hawaiian Shrimp plate. Oh, and the KEY LIME PIE was a generous slice that we ALL loved. The atmosphere was casual and we chose to eat on the deck over looking the water. The view and the breeze was perfect.

My wife and I were down in Pensacola for the weekend and after a day looking around, we wanted to have a nice sunset dinner and drink by the beach. We added our names to the waitlist and then found a spot to kill time at the bar.Our bartender, Savannah, was awesome! Even though it was busy, she was very thoughtful and recommended various drinks. We were finally called to be seated and didn't move far from the bar and asked if we could sit down below by the beach. No problem, very accommodating. We sat for a few minutes and realized that the servers might've thought we were just sitting there enjoying drinks. I waved to one of the servers and let her know and she got her manager, Clayton. Awesome guy with a great attitude towards service, apologized. Wasn't necessary since it wasn't long that we were waiting, but he was truly sincere. Afterwards our server, Phillip, provided exceptional service. Between Savannah, Clayton, and Phillip, they made our night. Highly recommend if you're in town.

Crabs We Got 'Em has the most scenic view on the entire Pensacola Beach. Our menu has a variety of items that include burgers, chicken, fresh fish, and of course....CRAB!! We also have daily drink specials and LIVE music everyday. Don't miss Sea Dogg on t
Usually when my family and I go to Pensacola, we visit the same three restaurants each time. On this trip, we decided to switch it up a bit and try our Crabs on the Beach. We went for lunch and were immediately seated. There was my husband, myself, my two toddlers and my two twelve year olds. Our waitress, Amy, was as sweet as can be and when we ordered our food, she asked questions to ensure it was exactly how we wanted our order. The attention to detail and care she showed meant a lot because you just donât see that much these days. Now, we had just gotten done playing at the beach and it was my toddler sonâs nap time so he was a little grumpy. Every now and then he would let our a whine or a grunt, yet that didnât seem to phase our server or the nearby servers and we never once got a nasty look which can happen when you bring toddlers into a restaurant(however if our toddler was being disruptive to other diners we would and do take him out to the vehicle while the others finish, we are def considerate of others!). The service was very quick and the food was amazing! My husband and I were silent almost the whole meal because we were enjoying it so much! The kids all thought their meals were great and the added bonus of a view of the gulf didnât hurt either. After the kids were done, they went to play on the playground to wear out some more energy. We are now adding this restaurant into our usual rotation of places we go to eat while at the beach. But the best thing about our whole experience there was the superb service of our waitress Amy. I highly recommend trying this place out :)Thank you Chelsea!!! We appreciate you giving us a shot, but we are even more thankful that we got added to the rotation. Glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience, as well as the service from Amy. We will make sure to pass along all the compliments to her and reward her for her job well done! We look forward to seeing you again!

Although Iâm a local, I had never tried this place as I thought it was too touristy. Originally we were going to take friends to Peg Leg Peteâs, which is under the same ownership. Although it was a mid-week and after lunchtime, Peg Legâs was a mob scene with people waiting to eat. Not the kind of thing we were in the mood for. Some friends had recommended Sidelines so we tried it instead. While busy, we were seated right away. Wings are a big thing here and I tried a friends, they were top-notch.I had a seafood platter (which might have had a different name on the menu, canât remember).HUGE piece of fish (mahi) and some large fried shrimp and some very nicely-done fried oysters (not over cooked, and juicy).I was pleasantly surprised by Sidelines and will definitely go back to try more wings. I thought it was a great value too, considering the size of the plate which I couldnât even finish!

Named after "Frank and Lola," a 1982 Jimmy Buffett song about a couple on their second honeymoon in Pensacola, the restaurant features everything from steaks to fresh seafood and also has a full service bar in an upscale, casual atmosphere. Frank & Lola L
Super fresh food, great service and employees seem very happy. The appetizer crab cake is perfect for a meal if you don't want a large dinner, it was delicious. Tables at night outside are nice and you can hear the ocean. A bit dark but lovely. The prices compared to very touristy overrated restaurants can't be beat. We loved every meal.Thank you for the 5 bubble review! We are very happy that you enjoyed all of your dining experiences with us! We do not have any overhead lighting on the patio because of the sea turtle lighting laws. I went against my gut, as many times places like this tend to be overly hyped...but I went with the reviews. I will say, it was a fairly busy morning, and the food was decent. However I saw at least 5 women working the front and this place is small. Plenty of help. Total lack of service, and little charisma. I am always polite, humble and grateful, but when the server never checks in to ask if the food is right, if you would like anything else, and then never once refills or offers to refill your coffee at breakfast time, it simply is a total fail. Guests come to spend money on good food and SERVICE.

First time at restaurant, first time trying Flounder Chowder. Wife and I loved both. Place is huge and on the water. Chowder also had lots of shrimp and potatoes. Warm dinner rolls served with it. From the menu, the specialty drinks looked awesome as did the tower of onion rings we saw served. Also has a bandstand so I guess they have live music on weekend nights??We are pleased to hear you and your wife enjoyed our delicious chowder on your first visit to Flounder's. You're right, we do have music on our stage nightly during our busy months. Thank you for your review! We hope you are able to join us for some food and fun next time you visit.

Traditional New Orleans Seafood, Po'Boys, and Oyster Bar.
My husband & I are regular visitors to Pensacola Beach, but had never eaten at Cosse's. It's a convenient walk across the street from Emerald Isle where we are staying. Boy are we glad we gave Cosse's a try for lunch today. As others have stated, the dining area is small, but the efficient staff cleans tables promptly without making patrons feel hurried. My husband had the alligator/frog leg combo basket, I chose a alligator/oyster basket. Both were big hits! Even the fries that are seasoned just right were good. The spicy red gravy sauce that comes with these baskets was a huge hit, flavor really complimented our food choices. Will definately be repeat visitors from here on.

This is a local favorite. Dave's Oyster Bar and Grill is all about Oysters. Get them raw, backed, or steamed. Also serving other seafood and non seafood options. Beer and Wine also available.
Last night of our trip and decided to try a different place instead of our usual restaurants. Server was nice and helpful; found out red fish is not fresh, so that was disappointing. I have an issue with up charge for seasoning, like blackened; 50 cents, is it really that much? Red fish is what is used, you can order other varieties for a higher price. Several mistakes in our order, but they were resolved quickly. Food was good, nothing special. Fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, soft shell crab po boy; all were tasty.
