Reviews on American food in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. China’s third-largest city is the capital of Guangdong Province and a thriving commercial center. Its location on the Pearl River and proximity to Hong Kong has made Guangzhou a strategic port for centuries. Glimpse old temples and gleaming steel towers on an architectural tour. Visit one of four Chimelong theme parks for thrills and chills. Once called Canton, Guangzhou is considered the home of traditional (read Cantonese) “Chinese food.” Foodies will find more restaurants per capita here than anywhere else in China.

This bar is a nice venue to have few drinks with friends in the evening.Very nice 70th floor outdoor terrace with view on the city and the Guangzhou Tower.I liked the "lounge" atmosphere, quiet. Average drink is around RMB100-150 per glass, a bit pricy but worth it.

I ate here with 2 colleagues on our last night in Guangzhou and we had a wonderful meal. We first ordered 3 different gin & tonics, which took ages to arrive and then 1 tonic water was wrong, but was quickly changed. They were nicely served but more details in the menu about the extensive range of gins would help guests not familiar with the spirit to make their selection e.g. unique ingredients or tasting notes like the wine list.We ate from the a la carte menu and started with shared onion bread, served with butter, truffled butter, oli & balsamic and was warm and soft. Our starters of crispy crab cakes or burrata were also lovely. The steak mains were the standout though - 2 tenderloin and 1 ribeye, pricey at 388RMB each but excellent meat quality and superbly cooked as we liked. Sides were generous portions. Wine by the glass had a good choice but was expensive, not much below 100RMB.The restaurant wasn't busy and most people were having the buffet, but it is a premium place and I was very surprised there was no evening dress code for such a lovely setting. Male guests in beach shorts and vest tops was rather off putting.Service was attentive and orders well taken.

Morton's Grille was a nice experience, given we were craving Steaks and decided to give this place a go. The menu is fairly elaborate and do ask to be seated alongside the window for a nice view of the Canton Tower at night. Quite like the steak and dessert. Will surely come back again.Thank you for joining us.We are very happy to know that you had a great time with us. We will be looking forward to see you again at Morton's soon!"

Itâs rare to find a waterhole in Guangzhou that offers mouthwatering tacos. I love the fish tacos paired with tasty boxing cat contender. Seasoning are on point, veggies were not soaked in sauce and variety is good enough for an authentic spread on every visit. Thank you for satisfying the long craved for tastebuds and delivering tex-mex into our lives.

Kitchen - Bar - Lounge :: Contemporary American, Cajun and Creole Cuisine. Craft Brew, Cocktails, Wine and Spirits. Located in the Business District in Zhujiang New Town, come fill your bellies and relax.
We are fairly regular customers at 13Factories and we have never been disappointed with the food. Although the service at times gets a bit slacky but expected as the place gets rather crowded on Sundays, thus the Kitchen gets a bit of an order back log. So no real worry as such.... Its best not to rush your food order, so we actually don't mind the wait. We are usually busy chatting and sipping the lovely freshly made Mimosas and Bacon Bloody Marys... you must oder the 2 hour free flow when you are there next, you'll love it.I love the Shimpy Bastard and the Cajun Style food, including their fries and burgers... the quality of the ingredients and the food is really top notch and quite a pleasant change from the usual. I'm sure you wont be disappointed, so if you haven't eaten here, you are missing out big time! The food looks and tastes good.... so feel free to order whatever you like. Their coffees and beers on Tap are awesome.... I particularly loved the Brooklyn On Tap.I'm sure we'll be back here soon for another gastronomic treat ! Bon Appetite.... ciao

Great sashimi and the rolls were good. Do not expect SUPER innovative japanese cuisine because this is plain, traditional japanese cuisine. Sushi, sashimi, soups and Kobe beef. The language is a definite problem so no special requests. Nice good japanese
