We were both hungry so decided to get something to eat before heading to the casino. It was prom night and they were a little short handed but the very small wait wasn't a huge inconvenience. Good food, clean restaurant, friendly staff!
Made from scratch food so good it should be illegal!
This place prides themselves on homemade food, and they delivered. Good service, good supper-club-type food. The popovers were very good, the meats all cooked to order, and the house specialty of cheesy hashbrowns ended up being like rosti--and really, really delicious.
The young lady who prepared my salad with lettuce, ham, cheese, fresh tomatoes, onions and olives took great care in arranging things so it looked artful and very appetizing! I could not have done better myself. I was welcomed when I first walked in and was glad to see the dining area was really spotless. Great service, great staff and fresh and tasty food can be found here. Other Subways could learn a few things from the Granite Falls location. Well done!

Budger's Dinner House was opened in 1963 by Donald "Budger" and Pearl Beasley. Don was given his nickname when he was little from his sister who had a hard time pronouncing "Brother." Today Budger's is still independently owned and operated by the Beasley
My parents live near Willmar, and we regularly make a trek to Maynard for a hearty steak dinner in an old-fashioned building. Budger's serves excellent food at an excellent price in small-town Minnesota. The portions of beef are generous and come with generous portions of potatoes. If you want to experience something less Midwesty, try the lobster tail. The service staff is experienced, friendly, and patient, and, we repeat, the prices are more than reasonable. The restaurant is now only open weekends. It can draw a large crowd on a Saturday nights, but there is no need to make reservations.
