Surprisingly good. This golf club house restaurant is always busy on Friday nights. If you are from the neighborhood, you will probably recognize a few of your neighbors. If you are not, no worries they still make you feel welcome in the relaxed setting. The service is fast and friendly. Food is always tasty and quantity is large enough for another meal next day. Great value.

Service is fast and food is great at prices we think are from yester-year. When you find a place where the locals go, you know its the place to eat at. We had the specials which were delicious. Club sandwich covered the whole plate! Very close to the Washington House hotel and a must do for breakfast or lunch. Not sure if they have dinner hours. Can't wait to return.

A great local spot right off I-43 for any Chicagoland person needing a mid-ride break between Windy and Door Co. Has the feel of the Northwoods bar/diner.. The bar was filled but that was due to the Badgers playing on TV. Service was helpful, attentive and timely throughout. We enjoyed cocktails and wine with our dinner. The coconut shrimp was outstanding. The Queen size prime rib serving was more than enough. I asked for medium rare and got medium, however No big deal.. French Onion soup was tasty too.Good deal for less than $75.

The Farmstead might be worth visiting once because of the unique atmosphere, but the food is strictly mediocre and the service is awful. The waitress we had most recently was rude and seemed put out that we were imposing on her by being there. Rumor has it the steaks are good, but I've been there twice and can't recommend anything else on the menu.

Outstanding food. We were shopping in Cedarburg around lunchtime and stopped in The Anvil Pub and Grille. I ordered the Blacksmith burger and my husband ordered the BLTC. Both came with fries and a pickle. The burger tasted like it came off a charcoal grill - absolutely delicious. The BLTC was outstanding. It was wrapped in what looked like a flatbread instead of toast. Probably the best BLT Iâve ever tasted. Nice atmosphere.

A very cute place along the river. There was outside seating available, we sat along the street to people watch. Next time we will try to sit along the river. Service was great. Their French dip was good and the hot giardiniera was HOT! Along with fries and a beer, couldn't ask for more...Thanks KenoshaKathy! We are happy to hear that you had a great time and hope you will be back soon!

We chose this place because it accommodates vegetarians and vegans. Everyone in our party left satisfied. My beet/arugula/candied pecan salad was a wonderful combination of textures, flavors, and colors. Dad's ribs and onion rings were almost too beautiful to eat, but he sure tried! The staff assisted me in choosing the right beer to complement my meal.

Found this great place because of TripAdvisor. Everything was delicious down to the pickles. Brisket Reuben with bread toasted just right and homemade sauerkraut and Brisket sandwich so tender and flavorful! Broccoli cheese soup was also very good. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend.

The Flipside has more items on their menu than 6 restaurants combined - breakfast, wraps, sandwiches, eggs, salads, entrees, appetizers, desserts, beverages - and Iâm sure I forgot something. Have some idea of what you want when you enter or you may be there awhile. We dined for lunch on a weekday and, while the restaurant was very busy, we were seated immediately. My daughter had French Toast (something stuffed and sweet and topped with granola) and I had a patty melt. We both enjoyed our food. The patty melt was over-cooked, but I was pleased it wasnât greasy. Sandwich sides are as extensive as the menu...shoestring fries, sweet potato fries, chive fries, tater tots, potato chips, coleslaw, fruit? The restaurant was clean. The servers seemed stressed, and when we asked for a clean fork (one of ours had egg on it) the waitress was clearly ticked off. She was too busy, but then figured out she could take one from the adjacent table without moving at all!Even in a full restaurant, it didnât take long for our food. Two entrees, two beverages $24 including tax.

It just opened in Grafton
After taking a long break from this restaurant, weâre now back as potential regulars. Our last three visits weâve enjoyed both good food and service. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich all three visits and he loves it. Itâs huge - two breasts on Texas toast. My last order was the BBQ chicken salad. While I was skeptical, it was delicious. Chopped salad with balsamic vinaigrette and crispy onions with BBQ chicken. Yummy.
