My son loves Subway! So with that being said the Subway in Grafton WV is a place we eat often. It's clean and the staff is always friendly.
This is a very nice place to eat- -warm, friendly atmosphere with very reasonable prices.
While in the area for business I heard about Lisa's Place. The menu Isn't the biggest but all of the food that I had was great. I ate breakfast there a couple of times. The owner, Lisa was very friendly, courteous and helpful. It's nice to see a little place like this still exists.
Located in historic downtown Grafton, WV Espresso Yourself offers the best coffee, ice cream, baked goods, sandwiches, aqnd other deserts in a welcoming atmosphere. We are the hub from which energy flows into the community.
Espresso Yourself is a wonderful coffee shop, located along Main Street in the heart of downtown Grafton. The coffee is good, and they also have a great selection of coffee drinks. The pastries are fantastic, as are the sandwiches. This is my "go to" coffee shop anytime I am in Grafton! I would be lost without it. Tom, Donna, and Brianna are the proprietors - and at least one of them is there during business hours, and each of them is worth the visit, in and of itself. They are true Graftonians! Which means that they are salt of the earth people.Thank you! "There is much more to a great coffee shop than just a cup of coffee." We work hard to make everyone feel welcome and important...because they are. Looking forward to seeing you during your next trip. Tom

Not sure whether waiter was employee or ownerHe disapeared into the kitchen often and couldn't be foundIf it was an employee he should be firedI methinks he was Leonard...You might want to start a real restaurant here or competingHe's seemingly the only place to eat downtown...Must think he doesn't have to have service...at allSeveral people came in while we were waiting for our foodA local lady came in and went inback to find waiterHe had a cook besides him working....so where's LeonardHi Mr. Shoaf, I'm sorry to hear of your poor experience at Leonard's Grill. I'm Derek, the owner you mentioned in your review. It's not uncommon for me to be alone during the afternoon in the slower months between 2p and 4p when we are lucky to have 4-8 guests. From 3-4 that day I served 13 guests. The other "cook" you saw in the back is a part-time, one day per week prep employee. He comes in to help with our portioning, and is not trained to cook or take orders. I wish we could have spoken about this in person when you visited because I never want a guest to leave angry or hungry, and it seems that I dropped the ball during your visit. Again, I am sorry for the lack of attention and service you received while dining with us and would like to personally invite you to contact me directly at 304-627-0080 or [email protected].

My wife had a breakfast at Jerry's scheduled with some old high school friends and I didn't want to intrude; I grabbed a seat at the counter, she went in with her friends. When Jerry's first opened eons ago a typical breakfast dish was so large it would feed two. Today's breakfast wasn't quite that large, but still more than enough to share...I did not. I eat everything and that consisted of what they called 1/2 an order of sausage gravy and biscuits (could have been more than enough), two huge sausage links and two scrambled eggs that appeared to have been laid by an ostrich ( must have been at least four large eggs). It was enormous and oh so very good. Looking forward to going back for more of that delicious food and outstanding service.

We have tried this place multiple times trying to make it work as we live close by. We actually gave up but someone invited us which is why we recently went. Yet again, food portion too small unless getting sandwich. Drinks are over priced. You have to pay to add sides for the sandwiches and with the price they should at least come with fries. I've tried the cajun chicken 3 times and every time flavor is fine but chicken is cheap. Its almost crunchy. Grilled chicken should be juicy and have nice string like texture. Bread was good. We aren't originally from here so I guess we are used to better quality. We have higher expectations. I understand why the locals rate it well as there isn't much to compare it to. So kudos that this place thrives and has people who think it's so great. On a positive note, the staff is nice and the place is cute. Crowded, but cute.
