This was our first time here. It came with high recommendations from many of our friends. Let me say it was outstanding. I had a Kona rubbed ribeye that was just perfect. My wife had a filet mignon It was also top notch. We had a couple of sides that were great and then the coconut cream pie was amazing our server Alex did an outstanding job. this might have been our first time to Capital Grille but it will not be our last.

A stylish, comfortable atmosphere featuring the large wine bar, art deco mosaic chandeliers, warm copper accents, soothing decor colors & two cozy fireplaces welcome you to Adelle's. Located in the heart of the western suburbs, Adelle's is not only the pe
Iâm in Chicago for a couple of days on work, and have mostly getting fast food delivered to my room given the current weather So this was a breath of fresh air, to get out, and hangout with some new friends. Itâs a cozy place, loved the ambience, not too noisy even thought it seemed like a full house (definitely get a reservation). The service by both our servers were good, they do menus for each day I think, and our menu for the day looked good, had a good mix of salads, soups and mains. I had the Salmon dish, it was really good. Despite the weather, I was also craving for some gelato, so had the Pistachio Gelato which was great as well. All in all a great experience for my first ever Chicago trip, and first outside the hotel dining during this trip :) Iâm very pleased. Our hosts paid for the food, but I think the food is not cheap :)

This place has been here forever and probably will be here in the next life! Down Home, I'd say! Rather dark amongst the knights in armour theme which makes you wonder what happened to the 21st century! This was Tuesday night, warm Sept. evening, and very few tables left. Many folks were there at 5 pm when we arrived, and that's without an early bird special! So something must be going right here. I had a very good Reuben, and my friend a good hamburger. Lots of beers, wines and cocktails on the menu. Prices have gone up, up. But the relaxed atmosphere and good waitress might bring us back again! Lots of older folks as well as families.

Enjoyed Cinamon French Toast this morning. Prices are reasonable with quality service. Met a friend for breakfast who enjoyed his vege-omelet with some specific options to deal with his diet requirements. They aim to please here. I have also enjoyed lunch here. There's a decent parking lot attached south of the Metra Tracks!

We keep going back to this yummy spot in downtown Glen Ellyn. The food is very good in a casual, but upscale bar atmosphere. Canât go wrong with the burgers, but the salads are always my choice.

Wife and celebrated our anniversary at Ivy on a Saturday night. We ordered the baked brie for an appetizer. The brie was good but the jam on the toasted bread was overpowering. The jam should be on the side. My scallops over rice with balsamic glaze were very good but the rice was very mushy. The sauce was perfect. My wife had the salmon which was touch overdone and dry. For dessert, I order a scoop of the vanilla gelato which was perfect and a scoop of the chocolate gelato which was gritty. My wife confirmed the grittiness, not sure if they didn't dissolve all the cocoa powder. The service was awesome and the setting was great. They have a nice wine list by the bottle and the glass. We both left there with a "meh" feeling that the food was good but nothing great.

Another fabulous experience at GP! Always a pleasure. Tonight, Cream of Asparagus soup was the best I've had. We also ordered the Local Cheese appetizer followed by Shepherds Pie and the Grass Fed Ribeye. All wonderful! If you are looking for average stuff, don't come here! If you are looking for organic, farm raised and locally grown, fresh herbs and spices, and "made from scratch" - this is will be your "go to" place! Ask to sit in Todd's section and you'll have the ultimate experience!

Fire is a great local spot. It is very popular. Tasty small plates to share and delicious entrees to enjoy. Service is friendly and focused. The only issue is the lack of reservations. The wait can be very long. In my view this is completely unnecessary. I would certainly visit much more often if I could make reservations and avoid the long wait.Hello GlennR, thank you for the review. We appreciate your words and you taking the time to write. In order to honor reservations, Tables must be held open so that when you walk in you have a table immediately available. There are many complications with reservations that are unknown to the general public and typically loss of business due to holding tables open. Our call ahead priority seat list basically acts like a reservation and the goal is to seat you immediately, however sometimes we cannot predict when a table will get up before you and many people sit longer than expected so you may end up waiting a little bit. On a typical busy night our wait can be up to an hour and a half to two hours for walk in business, and the call ahead list will get sat within 15 to 30 minutes. Which in reality is a typical wait time for reservations in most busy restaurants. So call ahead days or weeks in advance and get on the priority seating list. It truly works. Thank you again. Cheers...

I occasionally meet a client at Brick House for a couple of drinks and a short meeting. There are tables along the back wall which offer privacy. The drinks are reasonable, we have yet had anything to eat from the Brink House. It's basically an up scale sports bar.
