My friend and I stayed at the Sonoma Creek Inn and walked here for breakfast. The coffee here is delicious! The servers were very nice and allowed us to sit on the patio with our doodle dog. They even brought him a bowl of water without us asking. My friend had the juevos rancheros and I had the seasonal veggie omelet. Both were delicious. I would definitely stop here again if in the area.

Sante Restaurant is the Inn's premier dining room and has earned a national reputation for its outstanding food. Michelin rated as well as the AAA Four Diamond Award, Sante is the only restaurant in the Sonoma Valley to receive these accolades. Conde Nast
And this is an example of one. My average score is based on a beautiful setting, mediocre service and barely edible food. We opted not to purchase the discount coupon on line, since some of the items we wanted were not included. Location = beautiful and you have the choice of inside or out.Service = it was ok, but not over the top like I would expect of a FairmontFood = Salad dressing overly acidic. Lamb Belly - a great concept but oversalty and inedible. Past with Razor and Little Neck Clams - seafood great, but not enough in the dish. Tomato Sauce overly salty. You are able to order the souflle for 1 (though the menu said for 2) and it was the best dish of the night. So reading other reviews we all agree the ambience is great but I guess the food depends on what night you are there. We were very disappointed.OK wine list, but as with any high end resturant over priced. You would think in wine country it would be a little easier on the wallet.Dear JoAnn,I am very sorry to hear of your experience at the restaurant. I appreciate your feedback, as it is necessary to improve our food and service. I have shared this review with our chef and staff. I apologize for our shortcomings, and hope that you will visit us again. Sincerely,Brian StorrsSenior Restaurant Manager

Travelers and locals alike This is a fabulous place to have a wine pairing appointment especially on a rainy day! Being an upgraded player in the wine club here, I have already been to this event, but yesterday was lovely with our friends who had been at huge help with getting your new wine club managers and members alike. The food is divine but it is an incentive to the wine club but once a year, I got lucky enough to get this opportunity twice. One I hosted and another one a friend hosted who was also a club member. An aside, been here many times during the year and its never been a disappointment! Come and do a little wine tasting anytime year round. Staff at tasting room are unbelievably happy to help you. They almost go out of their way to make you feel right at home. With pristine soil conditions, I would recommend the st Francis Rose. Its nice and light to the palette, not too bitter with some floral tones and a hint of fruit like strawberry. The pairings you will need to reserve ahead. Fills up quickly. Events happen year round and sell out much faster than you might think. So act fast! Guests of wine club members are only permitted to attend with the designated club member. Otherwise guests that are not members of the wine club are not allowed to participate. So sign up!

And yes as the other reviewers have said, Try the burger! The signs are not prominent so you might miss this hole in the wall as you drive into and out of Jack London State Park. You'll find a lot of regulars at this spot, but not to worry, the bar keeper will make you feel welcome. There is a good selection of IPA's on tap. The food is respectable, the fries very good.

When visiting Glen Ellen, we usually have lunch at the Glen Ellen Inn but today found it closed for lunch. Luckily we spotted this place across the street so went in. We were not disappointed. Both of us had their quite large and loaded with bacon BLT; wife had side order of tomato soup, I had side of country potatoes. Both very good and filling. Service a bit on the leisurely side but we were not in a hurry. Seemed like a friendly neighborhood spot with local patrons. A bit noisy when full but not overbearing. Adjacent parking lot. Prices in line with most coffee shops.

Wine Country Cuisine, full bar, martinis, and a small boutique hotel located in the Heart of Sonoma Valley wine country.
We had dinner there last night. We ordered three different dishes and all of them were delicious. I ordered the prawns and loved them. My husband had the mushroom soup and our son Cioppino and they were delicious. We sat on a terrace outside and it was very nice. Great service.

Amazing fresh foods cooked in a wood-fired oven.
Located near our local stomping grounds of Sonoma, Glen Ellen Star is a restaurant that executes exceptionally well and delivers flavors slightly different from the norm of the valley. We really enjoyed the roasted cauliflower with tahini and almonds before moving on to the lamb belly special. Our server recommended an enjoyable bottle of sauv. blanc that paired well with all. The counter seats gave us a direct view of the kitchen and added a fun dimension to the evening. We will return.

A foodtruck that grew up into a very good restaurant. Always get the Tri Tip Bites for and appitizer. Excellant menu focused on an ecclectic southern twist. Love the gnocchi with the chicken meatballs. Good bar with unique cocktails, local wines, and draft beer. Don't miss the beignets. Wine country comfort food.
