For southern cooking, this place comes highly recommended by local folks around I frequently work and stay. Inexpensive with good sized portions served during breakfast and lunch. Order food and it comes up on styrofoam plates - reminds me how my wife's grandma fed us. Its a local favorite as is telling by it being quite busy around breakfast and lunch times.
We just happened to be passing through Glasgow at about lunchtime and weâre looking for a non-chain restaurant. This is definitely a locals place. The parking lot was full when we arrived. Only four main dishes were available along with a wide selection of sides. Everything we had was good and the women working here were super friendly. If you are counting calories, however, you may wish to look elsewhere.
American and Asian cuisine. Many different sandwiches including burgers, salads and a nice variety of entrées. Several Asian dinner is available.
We found out about this restaurant from friends. It doesn't seem to be advertised much. There were several people there when we arrived and a steady stream of others while we were there. So, the word is getting around by word of mouth I suppose. The menu had plenty of options. If you can't find something on there that you like then you must be really hard to please. I got a ribeye steak that was cooked well but was still juicy and flavorful. Others in our party got teriyaki chicken and a BLT. Everything tasted very good. Also, reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Really great family restaurant with homecooked comfort food. Fed a family of five dinner for $37 and it was the best meal we had our entire trip. Great local BBQ sauce-tangy, not too sweet. Plate meals with two sides just over $6. Looked on the web and th
Just amazed that out if all the bbq places in KY and specifically in Owensboro...little ole Glasgows Mooses smokes then all. Just go try it! No regrets only happy and full folks.

The family and I have eaten here a few times. They renovated the interior a while back and that made for an acceptable environment. The food is okay but with a heavy tilt toward garlic. No need to ask the cook to go a little lighter on the garlic because he does things his way apparently. No special substitutions. It comes the way it is listed on the menu, no exceptions. That's ok, my message to the cook/owner 'If you don't take care of the customer someone else will'. Once upon a time he wanted to charge for a glass of water. After enough disapproval he relented and stopped that. Eat here if you wish but I won't patronize a business with this type of mentality.

I had Turkey Cobb sandwich and my friend had the marihatia pizza. I tasted hers. Both were excellent with local fresh ingredients and tangy condiments orange marmalade sauce on turkey and blasamic vinegar thick sauce on pizza with caralamized onions and Kenny's cheese. A four star lunch place in my book any day.

We have tried this place 3 times now and the last was the worst. Service was terrible, food was extremely late and not edible. We will not be back. I donât know why they did not have their act together but wow!

This place is a must eat. Barbecue and sides are awesome. So far Iâve had the shoulder and brisket, both are good. Hash brown casserole and their spicy corn are excellent. They have live music on the weekends.

Best BBQ place in that area. Great portions, great food and great prices. The brisket was so tender and delish! We had a group of 5 that we ordered take out, the service was speedy.

We have been here twice and the food is good But both times we came towards the end of the open hours. (1:30 this time and it closes at 2) and both times the waitresses were working on prep for dinner. This time took the cake because she was vacuuming. I looked unhappy for her to see and it didnât phase her. She kept vacuuming. Itâs hard to enjoy good food with that noise. I wouldnât do it in my home. Allow someone to vacuum while we were eating. Other prep was going on and I felt under served the first time because the waitress was more interested in getting her prep work done instead of serving the customer
