Stopped for dinner while drive home from Chicago. Service was slow due to place busy and short on servers. Food was wonderful. I had the combination of ribs, steak and lambchops and my wife had the filet. very nice décor and people were very nice along with great food.

We had breakfast at Jack's on a Sunday morning around 8:00. Louanne was our server. She was efficient and super friendly chatting with us about the history of Jack's and the U.P. My husband had the 2 egg breakfast with sausage patties, hash browns, and homemade toast. I had a breakfast sandwich. Both meals arrived quickly and were very good. We plan to stop for lunch next time we are in the area. The huge pecan rolls looked awesome! Sounds like a great seller for them!

I had the beef brisket and my wife had the perch. Very accommodating service with quality food. The waitress was very attentive and brought take-out containers without being asked. I would definitely return here to try other meals. Great family seating and willingness to move table to accommodate group size.
Sit down family style restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner all day! Enjoy home style features, desserts and soups along with signature dishes!
Great diner food, with very helpful staff. The place feels like a Diner of yesteryear with some old favorites you don't see anymore (liver and onions) and the prices were good.

Irish Oaks Bar is part of the Irish Oaks Golf Course, and we are not sure which one we would rate higher....but for today...we are talking about the Restaurant.Parking is generally OK, you may have to fend off some golfers to park, but there is quite a bit of room. The restaurant and restrooms are usually very clean, the wait staff is/are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The food has always been great whenever we stop here, usually we swing by for a fish fry, and so far, we have never been disappointed. Credit cards accepted, take-outs/call-ins are OK, lots of tables for larger groups, but would advise a reservation. We heartily give this place a two-thumbs up review, with a cold beer in the river for you guarantee.Mahalo

Food is so so. Asked for yellow peppers on side. We received jalapenos. Meat and cheese in sub was very blah. Bread ok. Nothing to get excited about. Restaurants do not do well in this area. The food must be exceptional to stay open.

Log Cabin, as we knew it, is gone! Awesome views, but disappointing meal. Paper napkins with dinner ware inside....no place settings. 6:00 we were one of 2 tables....10 minutes later 2 other tables came in. They were offered the ânightly specials!â We were not! Menus messy and over used. Our appetizer was bruschetta. It was served on soft bread, cut in lengths, no olive oil, drizzled with balsamic vinegar, and shaved Parmesan cheese. Unusual recipe! Salad, with chicken added for $3.00, arrived with 4 chunks of chicken on top.....cold and not large enough to use knife. Included in salad were 2 thin slices of cucumber and apple. Service mediocre, at best! Bill came with a sign saying that a $3.99 service charge was charged. Highly recommend....the view!

Family style restaurant serving breakfast all day. We have delicious Fish Fry's on Friday and Prime Rib and Ribs on Saturday.
Got a Reuben and fries. Fries were pretty tasteless, although they were hot at least. Sandwich was okay, pretty standard. Mother ordered a sandwich and mashed potatoes. She agreed her sandwich was okay, but the mashed potatoes were bland. Pricey for what we got, should probably be priced at cheap diner prices. Hi there! So sorry you had an inadequite meal. We strive to make our guests happy in every way. Please give us another chance as we slice our own locally sourced potatoes for our homemade chips. :-) Happy New Year !!

Enjoy comfort food with a twist with a panoramic view of Lake Michigan in our newly renovated waterfront dining room.
Wasn't quite sure what to expect as it looked like this restaurant was part of the hotel/motel. We weren't staying at the motel but since the reviews looked pretty good we decided to give it a try. Glad we did - we didn't get a great table but the hostess did get us a table with a nice view of the water. Apparently some of the staff didn't show up because the hostess was also very busy bussing the tables, of which she did a great job. My wife and I ordered Perch entrees, one was the Panko the other sautéed. We shared and found that both orders were really very good and the sides that came with them were well prepared and tasty also. We ordered call drinks, both were very good & generous. Very glad we stopped in for dinner, and also glad that being attached to a motel was not a problem.
